Summary: Champion Construction Service (CCS) is seeking an experienced and reliable construction laborer to join the team. The Laborer will participate in all aspects of the on-site assembly of manufactured housing and will report directly to a Construction Crew Lead. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The key responsibilities of this position are outlined below. Other duties may be assigned. Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned. Keeps area and site organized and clean Read and use a tape measure

Read blueprints and orders Communicate well with coworkers Use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools Represent Champion with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor Working Conditions and Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.

Ability to stand and/or walk for the full duration of the workday Must have clear vision at both close and distant ranges Ability to hear clearly Must be available to travel, with occasional overnight stays Must be willing to work outside in all four seasons Qualifications: Must have a strong work ethic Must have the ability to work quickly and methodically Must understand safety procedures Must have good teamwork skills Must live the Champion Operating Principles Basic knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in the construction or repair of houses or buildings Ability to troubleshoot, reason, and solve problems Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing desired Preference will be given to those applicants with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record Must be available to work Monday through Saturday Must pass a pre-employment drug screen Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
