in recruiting related events and activities as needed. Manage new hire transitions to include onboarding and/or internal transitions.

Investigate employee complaints and escalate matters with recommendations to leadership. Manage the separation processes to include exit interviews. Perform analysis of turnover to proactively develop plans to address and minimize controllable turnover. Maintain organizational charts for assigned groups. Create presentation materials as requested. Work on site at a Ports America location within the assigned operational region Attend all leadership meetings for assigned operational region. Travel: 20% - 25% within assigned operational region.

Who You Are: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor s Degree in a Human Resources discipline with 6+ years of experience in experience in human resources, talent acquisition principles, employee relations, workforce management planning, and/or related human resources discipline 2+ years or employee engagement, and/or employee relations experience including knowledge of investigations. 1+ year of experience with union labor or collective bargaining agreements 1+ year of supply chain, distribution, logistics, and/or maritime industry experience Preferred Qualifications: PHR, SPHR, or other human resources certification Solution- and future-oriented thinking.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage in focused dialogue, demonstrate sound listening skills and communication both verbally and in writing. Ability to present to small and large groups at all levels of the organization and deal with unexpected questions and challenges while presenting. Ability to lead live or web-based presentations sessions. Strong understanding of employee relations principles, practices, methods, and programs. duties such as mechanical and electrical repairs; Provide training in areas of expertise or knowledge; Respond to work orders submitted by employees; Assist supervisor in ordering parts; Assist supervisor in developing and implementing a preventative maintenance program; Perform special assignments such as new equipment installations, and perform preventative maintenance duties.

Participate and execute actions from the quality improvement program; Support installation of new equipment and facilities improvements; Work safely by observing safety rules, policies, and procedures and identifying unsafe conditions or actions to the supervisor; Maintain compliance with company quality systems

The Skills You Will Bring: 2 years of related mechanical experience working in an industrial manufacturing production environment required Experience/knowledge in the following areas: Electrical circuit troubleshooting, PLC, Electronics, ARC flash, plumbing, steam and boiler, pneumatics, confined space, mobile equipment, Mig and Tig welding Mechanical Journeyman or Technical/Vocation Certificate preferred Ability to adapt to change Ability to problem solve and prioritize work Ability to bend, squat and kneel, and climb frequently Ability to stand for periods of a minimum of 3 hours Ability to work with minimum supervision Ability to work varied hours/days Ability to lift average weighted materials, 50 lbs up to 70 lbs occasionally Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to read and interpret blue prints mechanical and electrical schematics, piping diagrams, in orthographic, isometric, and sketch-views Candidates must successfully complete a skilled trades non-technical and technical test performed by employer.

This position shall serve as a focal point for specific engineering skills and be able to analyze and resolve complex issues. This position should be involved in industry seminars/workshops to continue his/her technical expertise and develop new ways of treating both old and new problems. On a periodic basis, the assigned responsibilities will change/rotate within the Bayside facility or to another company location

to support personal development and broader company bench strength. This position will be required to support the other plant engineers and their assigned areas of responsibilities.

Engineer Classification is multi-level, based on the qualifications guidelines as outlined in the Company’s Engineer Career Path, Administrative Policy 2.13. A minimum classification of an Engineer II is required in this position. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Within the limits of authorized objectives, policies, procedures, plans, schedules and budgets, this position has the responsibility and commensurate authority to: Identify, evaluate, conclude, or recommend improvements to design, construction, operation,

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Preferred: PE License. EXPERIENCE: Required: Minimum of 4 years of work experience performing the Duties & Responsibilities of this position in power plant engineering. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Required: The position requires a working knowledge of power plant design. Knowledge of basic plant processes and chemical reactions is required.

A strong attention to detail, good planning skills, good written/verbal communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment and a heightened awareness for safety is required.
