Assist in maintaining the accuracy and completion of the parts carts for the body technicians. Take a proactive approach to inventory control by assisting and or reporting
discrepancies. Ensure internal and external customers receive the correct parts in a timely manner. Receive, ship, mirror match and store parts as needed in accordance with dealership shop procedures.
Mark and store parts in stockroom according to prearranged system and assist with cycle count duties. Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advanceknowledge base and skill set. Participate in all company/location driven communication efforts, including open book meetings, huddles, department meetings and other related efforts. Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources,
with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner. The Service Advisor is responsible for scheduling service work in the service department and communicating needed services with our customers. Duties and Responsibilities: Schedules service appointments. Obtains customer and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible. Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner utilizing digital lane tools. Perform a customer walk around to ensure that
all clients’ needs have been addressed. Provides a complete and accurate written and digital Multipoint Inspection form and cost estimate for labor and parts and establishes promised time for service completion.
Checks on progress of repair throughout the day. Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promise time, explains cost and time requirements in detail, and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed. Test-drive the vehicle or refer to the test technician as necessary. Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index rating at least comparable to that of the manufacturer, zone or branch average. Encourages customers to review the dealership on various
social media sites. Advise customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications, using maintenance menus.
Understands and follows federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes, OSHA right-to-know, etc. Follows all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents Qualifications: High school diploma or the equivalent. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Two years of experience in a dealership position. General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations. ASE certification preferred.
