Responsibilities and regular job duties: Operation of tote filling systems to process orders according to customer specifications. Operate forklift in tight areas including Warehouse racks. Operating an automatic stretch wrapper. Operation of the inventory system to label
toted product with lot #, weights and product ID. Communicate with the roller operators for daily production schedules. Load pneumatic trailers with flaked product.
Move and organize palleted product to the warehouse. Assist in warehousing product. Assist with Re-stacking bags, stretch wrapping, and labeling bags prior to storage. Completing QA checks and paperwork. Assisting the other departments within the packaging warehouse area when necessary to meet customer demands. Being responsible for helping keep the packaging warehouse clean.

You will need strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask. You will be a team player and work closely with the receptionists, phlebotomists, cli nicians, and all other members of the care team. This is a full-time position, 30-34 hours per week. This position is typically 4 days per week, with no evening or weekend requirements. Duties include but are not limited to: Perform technical laboratory functions including
chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, serology, and coagulation, on patients as well as quality control and proficiency testing. Review and approve results in the lab information system (LIS).
Review lab orders, encounters and documents in the electronic medical record. Report test results following clinic protocols, drawing special alerts to clinicians and/or nurses on critical values or " needs to be seen" results. Perform venipuncture as required. Ensure quality control in collecting specimens, and assurance in appropriate testing and recordkeeping. Receive specimens into processing lab and verify correct specimen labeling. Include processing specimens sent to reference labs.
Perform venipunctures and obtain urine specimens. Perform therapeutic phlebotomies.
Education/Experience/Skills: Associates or bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology or related program preferred; High school diploma or equivalent required. Two years laboratory experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience MT, MLS or MLT certification - required. American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) certification - required.
