Must be proficient in all areas of Intraoperative monitoring and able to effectively communicate all information relevant to the surgical and anesthesia staff. Includes standby calls for the EEG Lab. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors or Associate level college degree in the life sciences. Must be registered as an Electroencephalographic Technician (REEGT) by the American Board

of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologists (ABRET) within 24 months of hire. Certification in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) or registry in Evoked Potentials required.

Ensures the accuracy of documenting services and supplies provided to the patients. Input tasks in electronic health record (EHR). Documents task completion for inpatients and outpatients in electronic health record (EHR). Help assist with training new employees in all department modalities. is a 24-Bed unit caring for primarily Cardiac, Stroke, Renal Failure, and Sepsis patients. This team-oriented unit has an average nurse/patient ratio of 1:4. The RN is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. In addition, the RN plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient's needs.
