WHAT IT'S LIKE: The Enterprise Event Management team is responsible for designing and implementing solutions for how T-Mobile monitors our telecom network and infrastructure. We design the flow of alarms from the equipment into our systems and develop alarming to create meaningful, enriched and correlate alarms to be sent to T-Mobile's Network Operations Center (NOC) to be worked. Developing the correct actionable alarming to keep T-Mobile's telecom network and infrastructure running is extremely important. Work with

a team of engineers to design monitoring solutions for T-Moible's telecom network (cell sites, core network) and infrastructure (servers, routes, switches).

The team currently employees IBM AIOPS and Open Text Operations Bridge. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Intern will join the team's daily standup meeting to discuss priorities and issues Intern will be responsible for working with our engineering teams to develop monotiring solutions using AIOPS or Operations Bridge for new equipment types being used by T-Mobile for our Infrastructure and Telecom tern will be involved in helping us explore the use of AI and ML to improve the way we detect faults in our Network. Interm will be involved in helping us move from fault monitoring to observability.

Expeditiously processes contracts and change orders, when required. Orders and submits certificates of insurance and bonds to customers, as needed. Sends bid requests and gathers quotes from suppliers, as directed by the project manager. Prepares committed cost reports as required by the project manager.

Prepares and assembles Operations and Maintenance (O&M) manuals. Assists project managers with P1 processes and procedures. Logistics Support and Coordination: Plans, coordinates, and supports meetings, training sessions, and conferences. Compile payroll data such as hours worked and employee classification & identification number for time sheets and other records. Transmit time sheet information to payroll system. Post data to payroll records. Reviews hours computed and correct errors to ensure accuracy of payroll. Record changes such as positions, skill levels, pay, address, etc.

Qualifications and Skills Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. An Associate’s Degree is preferred but not required. Experience: At least 5 years of full-time administrative assistant related work experience is required. Previous construction industry experience is preferred but not required. Computer Skills: Accurate typing skills and proficient in using database, email, internet, spreadsheet, and word processing applications: specifically, Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows); willing to learn new software applications. Customer Service: manages difficult or emotional customer situations; responds promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve service; responds to requests for service and assistance; meets commitments.

Communication: good verbal and written communication skills Able to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Fast and accurate data entry skills - very important. Responsibilities include monitoring and testing of IT systems for vulnerabilities and indications of compromise, incident response and remediation, and compliance with applicable government and other external standards. Be able to obtain a Poly. Must have at least 5 years of interpreting and implementing Do D directives, instructions, and policies that provide direction and guidance and applying them to CE and NE. Knowledge of the backssment & Authorization (A&A), and NIST RMF processes. Experience installing, maintaining, administering, and troubleshooting computer systems and networks. Experience with network security architecture to include, but not limited to firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), content filtering devices, encryption devices, and Do D Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).

Qualified at the IAT Level II for the Do D Information Assurance Workforce, must possess one of the following certifications: CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP. These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: An active Do D TS/SCI with Poly Clearance. Familiar with scanning tools (e. g. NESSUS, ACAS, etc. ). Familiar with Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS). Technical Writing experience (creating/updating IA policy & procedure documentation). Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation abilities.

Must be able to work well on independent engagements as well as within a team setting; Strong client presence and interaction abilities. Excellent understanding of common computing platforms, including Windows Server, Red Hat Linux Server, and vendor-specific appliance support. Some understanding of military hierarchy.
