With Rippling, you can hire a new employee anywhere in the world and set up their payroll, corporate card, computer, benefits, and even third-party apps like Slack and Microsoft 365—all within 90 seconds. Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $1.2B from the world’s top investors—including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Greenoaks, and Bedrock—and was named one of Americas best startup employers by Forbes.

About the role In this role, you’ll lead growth for organic search. You’ll be responsible for figuring out how to convert search traffic from potential customers into revenue. This channel is early stage for Rippling. Figuring out how to grow it will be a career-defining

opportunity for the right person. Whether people come to Google explicitly searching for Rippling, or just doing research about payroll or HR software, our goal is to get them to our site or affiliates, then eventually convert them.

Your job is to figure out how. You’ll go after this with a range of strategies, from improving our core website, to developing content at scale, to driving revenue through affiliate partners. You could be a good fit for this role if: You have an extreme ownership mindset and are obsessed with winning. You “hack the system” and often find creative ways to solve problems. You’ll obsess over the details to spot opportunities. You think about how AI will change

the way buyers make decisions - you’ll need to lead our strategy for how we’ll deploy and react to generative AI to drive organic search conversions.

The challenge of becoming Rippling’s in-house expert on SEO sounds exciting. This is a role with a lot of executive visibility - you should be able to go to head-to-head with our leadership team and back up your views with data. You don’t need prior experience in SEO, but you should be excited to rapidly level up and become world-class at it. About the team At Rippling, the growth team is the tip of the spear of revenue generation. Our team’s job is to maximize revenue by efficiently driving sales demos.

In any given week, we’re running new tests, doing user research, working with engineering and marketing ops to automate new growth motions, and analyzing data to uncover new opportunities. We then work with sales to turn our leads into revenue. We look for analytical and creative generalists. This is a perfect role for a future/former founder and anyone who loves building and getting things done. What you will do Develop and execute our SEO strategy. You’re able to flip between high-level thinking about market and technological trends, and hands-on execution. Work with our go-to-market team to level up our content across the site.

Identify opportunities to “hack the system” to dominate search results. Work with our content team and develop your own tools to develop good content, quickly. Use AI to accelerate our content development process without compromising on quality. Lead our strategy around driving revenue from affiliate sites. Collaborate with go-to-market, web engineering, brand, and marketing ops to get your tests out the door. What you will need 4+ years of experience doing both quantitative and qualitative work in a fast-paced environment, like founding a company or doing product/growth/engineering at a tech startup, i-banking, or consulting.

First-principles problem solving. You don’t pattern-match; you break down problems. Resourcefulness. You’ll do what it takes to get your projects across the finish line. Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data to uncover insights. Attention to detail. You will obsess over the data to look for opportunities and risks and will “go and see” frequently in search results, yourself. Creativity. You should be constantly testing new ideas for how we’ll win at organic search. Urgency and agility. You’ll constantly try new growth ideas in this role.

When things don’t work, you pivot; when they do, you move fast to scale them. Track record of cross-functional collaboration with technical and brand stakeholders.
