Maintains electronic health record and carries out follow up actions as required. This includes follow up for records pending action. Provides medications and immunizations per nursing protocols. backss vaccine schedule and administers age-appropriate vaccines in clinics and outreach events. Performs limited laboratory tests, i. e. urinalysis, blood sugar, hemoglobin, pregnancy test. Performs venipuncture and obtains specimens in correct tubes. Packages & prepares lab specimens properly to send to appropriate laboratory

for testing. Performs and logs results of Quality Control Test on blood sugar tests, pregnancy tests and urinalysis tests as indicated.

Operates routine laboratory equipment. Washes instruments, packages them as indicated via autoclave. Maintains and operates autoclave. Assures that items are properly stored after autoclaving and items date sensitive are reprocessed as indicated. Orders and maintains necessary clinical medical supplies keeping clinic stocked with correct supplies. Performs phlebotomy services and routine laboratory testing, including pregnancy tests, rapid Hep C and HIV. Reviews vaccination records and status to provide direct immunization services which includes the education, counseling and administration of immunizations to children and adults, and travelers per CDC, ACIP, VFC, FDOH and DOH-Volusia guidelines.

Updates vaccination records in FL SHOTS and issues appropriate documentation, i. e. Form 680 and religious exemptions in accordance in the agency policy. Assists in setting up examination rooms, preparing instruments for various procedures, maintaining the care of instruments and equipment, cleaning and wrapping instruments, cleaning exam rooms at the end of clinic each day, restocking rooms and maintaining work area.

Assists with the orientation of students, new staff members and cross-training fellow clinical employees. Provides clinical services at community-based outreach clinics to include, but not limited to, the provision of family planning, immunizations and STD screening and treatment listed above. Incumbent provides clinical services, professional support and technical assistance to staff, community agencies, and the public. This position requires experience in a busy clinic setting with a variety of duties in Immunizations, Family Planning, STD and Refugee Health services.

This position will be required to perform duties at multiple sites within the county to include, but not limited to, Florida Department of Health in Volusia County locations as well as sites established/co-located within the community in conjunction with community partners. various sites within Volusia County. The employee is expected to arrive at assigned location (daily) on time at the provided start time. Mileage will only be paid in accordance with State policies for travel to different service site locations within the county.

This is a responsible position requiring excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills. The agency oversees services for child safety, fostering, adoption, domestic violence, adult protective services, refugees, homelessness, mental health, substance abuse, childcare providers, human trafficking and public assistance.

The agency's mission is to work in partnership with local communities to protect the vulnerable, promote strong and economically self-sufficient families, and advance personal and family recovery and resiliency. Within DCF, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health (SAMH) Program office is recognized as the

single state authority for substance abuse and mental health services. The Office of SAMH is statutorily responsible for the planning, evaluation, and implementation of a comprehensive statewide system of care for the prevention, treatment, and recovery of children and adults with serious mental illnesses or substance use disorders.

Northeast Florida State Hospital (NEFSH) is a 613-bed, licensed mental health treatment facility that provides person-centered services to adults suffering from severe and persistent mental illness. THIS IS AN ANTICIPATED VACANCY. This is a highly responsible and professional position that will serve as a Registered Nurse Supervisor at the Northeast Florida State Hospital. T his position will collaborate with each section within the state facilities and be required to use independent judgement, take initiative in carrying out duties and responsibilities and should be extraordinarily detail oriented. Specific Duties and Responsibilities include: This is advanced professional work supervising and directing employees.

The primary duty of the incumbent in this position is to spend the majority of their time communicating with, motivating, training and evaluating employees, planning and directing their work; and having the authority to effectively recommend actions such as: hire, transfer, suspend, layoff, promote, discharge, assign, and reward or discipline direct reports. Administering appropriate coaching and/or disciplinary action necessary to ensure a safe, individualized regimen for the residents assigned and compliance with all nursing backssments, nursing progress notes, Recovery Plans and other paperwork required in accordance with all standards/regulations applicable to ward. Assist in interviews, selection of nursing service personnel to work in the unit. Completes quarterly/annual evaluation and expectations/standards on staff with completion of paperwork, scoring to supervisor with attachments of improvement plans as needed.

Ensures nurses supervised have current licensure and required CEU's on file with copies to SRNS. Completion of nursing skills checklist at least yearly or more often as needed with copy to SRNS. Supervises and completes yearly evaluations on assigned non-licensed staff performing nursing functions assigned with documentation of any re-training or needs sent to supervisor. Assumes ultimate responsibility for all resident care delivered on the shift by assigning staff including backssing, evaluating, and following-up on the delivery of quality resident care according to facility and CF Operating Policies/ Procedures/Guidelines/Playbooks/Manuals.

Reviewing staff documentation regarding resident care to assure timeliness and accuracy. Completing periodic rounds on wards/pods with backssment, evaluation of quality nursing and direct care. Monitor resident care through observation and communication with staff supervised. Ensuring adequate supplies and equipment are available for resident care. Assisting in handling medical/psychiatric emergencies with accurate documentation.1-on-1 observation of nurses while administering medication/treatments at least once a year or more often as needed.

Assigning and monitoring medication education groups for specific needs. Evaluates changes in guest needs, the hotel's guest mix, and industry and competitive trends to recommend appropriate product/service and operational changes to be made to ensure guest and employee satisfaction, and to maintain market dominance and exceptional financial returns Distributes Banquet Event Orders and group resumes to appropriate hotel departments to facilitate efficient purchasing, planning, and employee scheduling Schedules and coordinates pre and post-convention meetings and for all assigned groups as applicable Ensures that information regarding daily group functions are clearly posted via the hotel's guest information system and in general meeting areas Provides outstanding customer service to clients while they are in the hotel to ensure total guest satisfaction.

Maintains accuracy of conference management information in Delphi Must meet specified monthly/annual booking goals as established during annual budgeting process Prepares and sends thank you letters and Event Management Evaluation Forms to assigned groups Works on special projects as assigned by Director of Event Management Attends all applicable hotel meetings: department, staff, food and beverage, sales, and Banquet Event Order Assists in building strong relations with other hotel departments, employees, and outside agencies and vendors Other duties as assigned General Promotes and applies teamwork skills at all times Notifies appropriate individual promptly and fully of problems and/or unusual matters of significance Is polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, management and fellow employees Executes emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standards Complies with required safety regulations and procedures Attends appropriate hotel meetings and training sessions Maintains cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work area Complies with hotel standards, policies and rules Recycles whenever possible Remains current with hotel information and changes Complies with hotel uniform and grooming standards The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Three years minimum hospitality experience Three years minimum experience in a convention hotel Experience as an event manager Passion and enthusiasm for hospitality are a must Excellent communication skills - verbal and written Experience using Microsoft Office products, Meeting Matrix, Social Tables, and Delphi Self-motivated and willing to learn
