Provides comprehensive nursing in all FDOH Lee clinics and community
settings as warranted. These services include: childhood and adult immunizations, reproductive health services, counseling/testing, health screening, health education, referrals and follow-up of the referrals, timely and thorough documentation, and collection of laboratory specimens.
SUPPORT SERVICES: Maintains comprehensive quality records, collects and reports pertinent data to advanced practice registered nurses and physicians; provides appropriate case follow-up; participates in case conferences; confers with other professionals; formulates and evaluates care plans, assists in record reviews; recognizes and understands the changes in the community and nursing practice which affects community health unit programs/plans; serves as staff advisor to student affiliates and new staff nurses.
Assists with health fairs, community organizations, and specific public health events as requested. Prepares reports or other required data within specified time frames. Attends pertinent conferences as requested or permitted. Performs other miscellaneous related duties as required. Prepares biweekly leave/attendance records and daily employee activity records (EARs).
