Support services include employee and student travel, as well as ordering goods, services, and equipment through the e-commerce platform. They prepare budget and financial journals in the Financial Information System (FIS/Banner), largely relating to non-sponsored funds. The DSPs job is to provide direction and hands-on support with any and all needs our clients have, but the DSP is not a butler! The goal is for our clients to engage in all parts of their lives, and the DSP is responsible for making sure that even though our clients may need someone to help them with eating, cleaning, bathing, or toileting, that they themselves are still taking part in those activities! The people we support need 24/7 care so we have a variety of both part-time and full-time schedules.
