Duties include: Daily servicing and safe use of forklifts and any other equipment (tools, sweeper/scrubber, etc. ) Safely connecting/disconnecting lift from charging station as required Safely operating a high-reach truck in a densely racked area Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of designated areas, forklifts and any operational equipment Responsible for safely operating smaller forklifts when required for loading/unloaded product Staging loads safely and accurately in the correct, clean location Sweeping staging areas when required Accurately picking/staging/relocating/stacking of product - includes updating locations via paper Accurately, safely and neatly
put-away product from staging areas into racks Reporting any accidents and/or near misses immediately to supervisor Reporting any unsafe activity seen in the warehouse to supervisor Verifying outbound loads after staging (double-check work) Cleaning the assigned warehouse section Reporting any damages to product, racking, facility or equipment to supervisor Lock out/tag out any malfunctioning equipment and report the problem to a supervisor Following Federal, Local and facility rules, regulations and guidelines Required to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis Required to stand/sit in a forklift and place/pull product from up to 6 levels high of racking utilizing positional controls, LCD monitor, sight lines.
