The park includes many historic structures, including the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller Mansion and a series of exceptionally preserved nuclear fallout shelters, in addition to over 500 acres of the oldest scientifically

managed forest in the United States and 20 miles of carriage roads and trails for visitors to explore.

The park's story ranges from George Perkins Marsh, an early prophets of the land conservation movement, to the Billings Family that put Marsh's conservation findings into practice on their forest and farm landscape, to Laurance and Mary Rockefeller who not only continued the conservation ethic established for this land but carried it out to other lands and parks in the United States. The park is also home to the NPS Stewardship Institute, an advanced study institute established at the same time as the park to explore new avenues of conservation leadership and practice within the National Park Service.

This is a Weekend Night shift position, working from 6pm - 6am on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Scope of the Role Maintain and repair building, utility, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning), and fire protection systems. All duties to be performed in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Work Instructions. Duties Include:

Troubleshoot and maintain all facility and utility systems as necessary (steam, hot/cold industrial water, compressed air, etc. ) Perform preventative maintenance to ensure all equipment remains in “as new” condition.

Perform major plumbing/piping repairs and install new air lines, water lines, and waste lines as necessary. Operate emergency generator, process waste system, and miscellaneous systems throughout the facility. Document flows, usages, issues etc. as necessary. Train on the HVAC computerized system and all related components. Rebuild components such as valves, steam traps, and utility pumps. Provide training and technical support to set-up mechanics whenever required. Perform

welding of parts and facility components. Maintain the facility, including outside work and snow removal.

Perform other duties as assigned. Experience Required High school diploma, General Education Development (GED) or equivalency. Responsible for data input of work order information, status changes, supply updates, and other pertinent information. Makes on-the-spot adjustments to repair priorities necessitated by unscheduled maintenance requirements.2) Ensures Modified Table of Organization and Equipment (MTO&E) or Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) reportable Line Item Numbers (LIN) are properly managed, reported and accounted for with respect to readiness reports, property accountability reports, and system

Using the current automation support system, authorizes the acceptance of equipment for repair; monitors work priorities, current status, and completion of work orders; requisitions and provides status of repair parts; and assures the effective utilization of maintenance personnel. Provides both standard and ad hoc reports on the status of work orders to the supervisor and/or units. Assists supervisory personnel regarding readiness, CL IX funding, production problems and work planning. Assists in the resolution of problems encountered between scheduled or unscheduled production or priority requirements.6) Analyzes repair methods and develops control procedures and policies to assure accomplishment of programs to meet priorities and deadlines established by higher authority or support activities.

Ensures that this is performed in the most effective and efficient manner possible with good quality control and quality assurance procedures in place.
