and Technology Department Job Description: The Opportunity The Department of Media Production, Management and Technology at the University of Florida's College of Journalism and Communications is seeking applications for a non-tenured Visiting Lecturer in Production, starting July 2024.

We are seeking a creative, curious storyteller who is an expert in content production, is committed to teaching, and will thrive in a collaborative working environment. Primary responsibilities include teaching content production for web and social media marketing. This requires expertise in Previs to create a mood board/storyboard to achieve desired outcomes. The successful candidate will play a vital

role in our production program and in-house advertising agency teaching a 3/3 load and bringing their content creation expertise and industry knowledge directly into the classroom.

Successful applicants will have expertise in making brands stand out in broadcast, web, and social media platforms. not limited to the following: Plans, develops, and conducts classes in the assigned subject(s). Utilizes various teaching techniques and activities to assist students with their educational advancement.

Responsible for the supervision of inmates assigned to the class. Conducts roll calls, counts, and maintains attendance records. Ensures that order and discipline are maintained in the classroom. Continually evaluates students and makes determinations as to overall progress. Administer grades and evaluates tests. Counsels and advises individuals regarding their program progress, behavior, or personal concerns. Participates in staff meetings, seminars, and workshops to identify needed curriculum

changes and to facilitate professional development.
