POSITION PURPOSE: The Engineering Manager will lead a team of project and manufacturing engineers in identifying and completing capital projects, and identifying and implementing process improvements. The Engineering Manager will also have responsibility for overseeing

Experience 10+ years as an engineer in an industrial environment 5+ years in an engineering management role Completion of a variety of capital projects in an industrial setting Demonstrated project management/leadership roles with complete project ownership Experience managing internal maintenance staff and external contractors on a project basis Previous experience with complying with regulated environments (i. e. OSHA,
EPA) a plus Skills Highly energized and motivated with experience working with teams to implement change.
Knowledge of and experience with Lean and Six-Sigma processes Excellent personal computer skills in a network environment Highly-detail oriented and must be able to work independently Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required Strong planning, time management, and prioritization skills EDUCATION: Undergraduate degree in Engineering or related discipline; advanced degree a plus ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: As a member of the Plant Leadership Team the expectation is to help develop and execute strategic short term and long term initiatives Develop and maintain a project engineering team to meet the needs of the client plants and successfully execute needed projects Lead and manage a team of project engineers to improve manufacturing operations to improve safety and reduce cost and lead time through capital and technology projects Identify project opportunities, vet ideas, and lead/participate in projects from concept to implementation and commissioning.
