field installation reviews for OEM and Distributor customer base on engines, transmissions, and power units. Perform tasks in a timely manner with attention to lead times and customers' schedules. Perform data acquisition tasks on new engine and transmission installations.
Perform calculations and engineering analysis of test data. Can design via 3D CAD base frames structures, misc. brackets, wiring schematics, etc. Have basic electronic knowledge as it pertains to engine controls including control panels and integrated systems and understanding of wiring schematics. Negotiate and manage engineering improvements in sub-standard systems proposed by OEM and Distributor-based customers.
Maintain database on each active application and manage the Installation Review workflow. Assist sales in the proper selection of engines and options for new applications.
Support service functions through engineering analysis of pattern failures, dyno testing of specific engines, etc. Assist with problems as they arise with our OEMs, and Dealers. Participate in trade shows relevant to the customer base. Participate in Service Department training sessions as new systems are introduced.
