Leads Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) teams to diagnose equipment failures and drive corrective actions utilizing expertise on failures and repair techniques. Shares improvement bulletins and RCFA learning s with all sites and with the Reliability Network. Evaluates and produces MI Alert Reports. Implement and monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions on a regular basis resulting from RCFA s, audits, and backssments. Work with operators to maintain/operate equipment in excellent working condition through the generation/updating of Standard Operating Procedures and training.
Identify, evaluate, and implement knowledge and good practice transfer between the plant engineers for technical optimization. Develop Maintenance SOPs and train technicians and supervisors. Provides technical input on Capital/Expense projects and equipment specifications and manages small capital projects as needed ensuring they are completed safely, on-time, and on budget. Champion maintenance technologies and their application in the plant.
Keep and update the technical documentation and records for archives management. Represent their plant and actively participate in the Maintenance Network meetings sharing any learning events and leveraging in any actions from others learning events. Utilize this Network to drive the effective implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program. Actively participate in plant s capital and expense planning process. Actively participate in plant s HSE activities and training. Requirements: Bachelor s degree from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Mechanical engineering preferred. 2+ years of relevant maintenance and reliability experience, preferably in a chemical, petrochemical, or refinery production plants with emphasis on planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance activities.
