Installs and configures network management and monitoring systems. Work jointly with security team as a liaison to bridge the gaps between the network teams and other technical areas. Assist in technical audits as needed. Provides on-call support Performs other related duties as required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Knowledge of mathematics. Ability to perform mathematical calculations. Ability to communicate technical data processing information effectively. Knowledge of accounting and/or the principles, practices and techniques of computer programming and systems analysis design Knowledge of computer flowcharting techniques. Knowledge of computer operations procedures and systems. Knowledge of computer programming languages. Ability to process information logically. Ability to design systems logic and/or process information logically.
Ability to analyze and interpret computer program data. Ability to identify and define user task needs and/or conduct short range and long-range project planning studies. Ability to prepare program specifications. Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Please note, when submitting a college/university degree, if selected for this position official transcripts will be required. Must have at least 5 years’ experience installing, configuring, and supporting an Enterprise Network Must have experience supporting routers for a large Enterprise Must have experience supporting wireless access points for a large Enterprise Must have experience supporting managed switches for a large Enterprise Must have experience supporting a High Availability (HA) pair of firewalls Must have experience supporting a Remote Access VPN appliance at an Enterprise level Support of knowledge, skills, and abilities should be demonstrated on the application, in the education, in the work experience, in the work sample, in the interview and/or during reference checks.
