Role Overview: The incumbent will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and evaluation of invasive carp research and management actions in Indiana. The incumbent is responsible for working collaboratively on inter: jurisdictional projects to reduce the impacts of invasive carp populations in public waters through the application of biologically sound fish management techniques. specialized knowledge of biological principles and life histories of aquatic communities.

Requires specialized knowledge of limnology, ichthyology, fisheries management, and aquatic resource management. Incumbent assists the invasive carp biologist in planning and conducting population investigations, compiling and interpreting scientific data, and writing scientific reports. The incumbent will serve as Indiana's lead on one of the Ohio River Basin Invasive Carp Partnership's collaborative projects.
