Sales and clinical team who will be responsible for driving growth across the US. Through our Impella® product portfolio you will enable physicians and staff to recover hearts and save patients' lives.

Coverage Areas: Michigan Advanced Surgical Consultant will: • Train, educate, and support combined CT/Heart Failure programs on the proper use of the Impella 5.5 with Smart Assist • Full customer immersion (ie. input on patient selection and subsequent surgical support) within 5.5 sites to ensure optimal patient outcomes. • Train, educate and, provide support in conjunction with the Medical Office and Engineering team to support EFS/PMA efforts and full commercialization of the BTR pump

and future Surgical and Heart Failure focused technologies. • Device expertise and support on Impella 5.0/ LD in order to assist with the adoption of the full portfolio beyond 5.5 commercial launch responsibilities.

• Clinical and technical expertise and support of Breethe Oxy-1 to assist with device integration and support of system adaptation into applications beyond the initial commercial launch. • Participate when able with launch, training, and education of combined Surgical/ Heart Failure programs on the proper use of the Breethe Oxy-1 system with the Breethe Clinical Team. • Internal collaboration with the Commercial Team, Training Team, Engineering Team, Marketing, Professional Education, Clinical, as well as with R&D.

• Maintain contact with all customers to evaluate clinical and educational needs. • Performs device training on full Impella Surgical Device line-up. • Be a functional expert and provide advanced acumen on the durable, acute, and, hemodynamic medical device landscape and best practices in the management of those devices. • Cultivates close relationship with strategic business partners and key opinion leaders. • Input to management on all situations affecting clinical results and sales. • Call point(s): Cardiac Surgeons, Heart Failure Cardiologists, OR teams, Intensivists, Perfusionists, and ICU/ Step Down Unit teams.

• Staff major conferences: HFSA, AHA, STS, AATS, and ISHLT. • Staff Advanced Surgical Courses and local heart failure and surgical symposiums. Job Requirements: • Bachelors' Degree required; Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA), Nurse Practitioner (NP), Surgical Physician's Assistant (PA), or Perfusionist licensure • Direct (at the table) experience in Cardiac Surgery/Perfusion, 5 years preferred. • Direct patient management experience in a cardiothoracic ICU with post-op t MCS (must include more than IABP) or durable MCS (does not include Abiomed experience) required.

• Confidence, expertise and, familiarity of cardiac surgery and OR protocol is required. • Willingness to travel/ cover multiple geographies required; previous experience desired. • Up to 50%-75% overnight travel may be required depending on territory. • Previous experience with Abiomed and/or other Cardiac medical devices highly desired. • Ability to drive patient outcomes required. • Conduct duties and responsibilities in accordance with all state and federal laws and regulations governing the medical device industry required.

and six ambulatory sites. Summary Description Under the direction of the Clinical Manager, Respiratory Care and the Chief of Pediatric General Surgery, sets up, troubleshoots and monitors patients on prolonged life support equipment, and performs the duties of a Registered Respiratory Therapist.

Prepares the ECMO machine for placing patients on the ECMO process (i. e. the pump). Evaluates and selects equipment and supplies to be used to set-up the ECMO machine. Primes and safety checks equipment and assists in connecting patient to circuit. Monitors patients receiving ECMO treatment and equipment. Under established ECMO protocol, adjusts rates of blood and gas flow through heart-lung

machine based on interpretation of patient vital signs and laboratory results; determines heparin levels in blood by measuring activated clotting times, documents information relative to patient care during ECMO and communicates patient's condition to physicians and staff.

Prepares and replaces critical components of the ECMO circuit when equipment malfunction occurs while patient is on ECMO. Performs preventive maintenance on equipment; maintains and checks for optimal functioning on a regular basis through proper servicing, safety checks, quality assurance and quality control programs. Assists in the development of protocols and in ECMO training of Senior Respiratory Therapists. Assists in conducting in-services with employees to communicate updates on ECMO and to maintain technical knowledge of equipment and procedures.

Maintains an adequate inventory of ECMO supplies and equipment at all times. Orders and maintains adequate drug supply for the ECMO circuit. Assists with various research projects. Performs the duties described in the Senior Respiratory Therapist job description. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications 1. Graduation from an AMA/Co ARC approved Respiratory Care program. Associates degree in Science, Allied Health or equivalent. 2. Registration by the National Board for Respiratory Care and current CHM ECMO certification. 3. Licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist by the State of Michigan.

This position is critical to our practices' ability to provide better care to Medicare beneficiaries and the CDI Lead is expected to be an exemplar of regulatory compliance. The CDI QA Lead will lead quality assurance program development and CDI QA initiatives. Primary Duties: Partners with key stakeholders to lead clinical documentation and coding quality assurance initiatives & program development. Ensures compliance with third party and State and Federal regulations. Delivers progress reports to leadership regarding CD Quality program initiatives (e. g. audit reports) Serve as a Subject Matter expert for regulatory compliance, clinical documentation, coding,

and billing. Master auditor. Audits staff to assure a minimum of 95% accuracy and recommends education and training related to results.

Provides input to the staff performance evaluation completed and conducted by the Manager. Required Qualifications: Active nursing credential as Registered Nurse (RN) Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related healthcare field. 10 years of experience in lieu of the degree Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities: 4 years of experience in a health plan or health system setting 2 years of experience in Risk Adjustment 4+ years of management experience Previous experience in a quality assurance program and extensive knowledge of state and federal regulations and guidelines pertaining to documentation and coding.

Thorough understanding of medical coding guidelines and regulations including compliance, reimbursement, and the impact of diagnosis documentation on risk adjustment payment models. Complete understanding of acuity levels for specific patient populations and strong clinical knowledge with the ability to interpret clinical documentation. Experience working directly with physician practices and individual providers to achieve demonstrable improvement of the accuracy and completeness of documentation and coding.

Subject matter expertise on the Risk Adjustment program, methodology, and impact to value-based contracts across multiple lines of business (Medicare, Medicaid, & Commercial). Master's degree in health related fields.
