New paint. The motor and transmission has about 2000 miles on them. The tail is oem with glass Lins the headlight oem. Fenders oem. The after market are. Dash and speedo primary covers chain guard tank emblems breather. Very nice bike. Ready to ride. Excellent condition.

1978 kawaskai Z1R TC bike Engine was rebuilt 2 years ago with all new oil seals and gaskets.
Rebuilt front and rear calipers and master cylinders. Front and rear wheel bearings replaced. It also has hard to find Lester mag wheels front and rear in excellent shape. It has the original shinkolote wind screen in excellent shape. It also has american
turbo pack deep oil pan, all the chrome on the bike is in excellent shape. The bike has less than 300 miles on it since all of the above has been done.

Bellys are not matching but vin side numbers are HD of course both cases are Harley (see pic)Complete front end is HD, except Tire, headlamp and new plexiglas windshield. frame is vintage HD. Fender light is repop Complete Knuck frame, HD, flawless, no cuts or welds. Boards, rear light bonnet, speedo, toolbox,
and some small stuff is aftermarket best quality available. The sheet metal is all HD, It has 52 Panhead tanks cause I like the script and am using foot shift. I have aftermarket hand shift tanks but like all HD metal on it, Will change and keep the 52 pan tanks for aftermarket ones if you prefer.
Modifications from stock: Rear disc brake, belt primary with electric start engagement at inner primary (see pic) 12 volt system and h. i. d lights. Motor has 74 inch flywheels , a high volume oil pump. New s and s carb with vintage HD cover. The snoot was aftermarket and it looked a mess, rather use patina HD parts. The saddlebags are new HD of course. Look at pics closely , went to great lengths
to hide modern stuff on it , Its done right, hard to see modern electronics, caliper etc.. HD 38 knuck , HD title , HD motor , HD frame, HD springer , HD sheet metal, HD wheels etc, runs great , looks great.

74ci 1948 Indian Chief, one bad bike!
The motorcycle is mostly original with some vintage aftermarket parts like the kicker pedal, muffler, floor boards. Paint is not original but has a nice patina and looks good. This bike has not been over - restored like so many old Indians and Harleys you see. I prefer to have a bike with some old scratches
/ imperfections / patina and personality, and that is what this has! The electrical system has been up graded to 12v as you can see in the pics. The motor itself has an estimated 2k miles since it was gone through. Original speedo works but the needle does bounce while riding.
I had the speedo cleaned and reset to near zero back when I first got the bike. All wiring was replaced with a new and correct cloth harness, new bar switches too. All lights and warning light work as they should. New battery this past spring. Antique horn cover on modern 12v horn. Bike has the correct Linkert Carb in good shape and a K$N filter in the chrome housing. Has a Corbin leather seat. White wall tires
are older but have very few miles on them and no cracking. Brakes work as well as they did in 1948, that is to say they stop you fine as long as you anticipate your stops.
This bike with its foot clutch, hand shift, hand throttle and ignition person will take some practice to ride safely. This bike is very happy to run anywhere around town you might want to go as long as the weather is not too hot! This motorcycle, just like all the war era air cooled bikes I've owned does not like 90 degree weather, so I ride it in the mornings and evenings when it's cooler. Has always been an easy starter and runs well. Bike has been well maintained. Clean title!
