Staff Accountant Job Duties: Responsible for all accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month end close items. Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts. Complete balance sheet reconciliations. Perform general bookkeeping and organize financial forms, documents and receipts. Resolve errors in financial reports and correct faulty reporting methods. Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends. Ensure all accounting tasks and financial records comply with generally accepted
accounting principles (GAAP) Staff Accountant Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting and 3-5 years working in an accounting role.
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize effectively. Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and client information. Excellent Skills with Microsoft Office Suite and data entry skills. High attention to detail with excellent analytical skills. Highly organized with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Robust experience with Quick Books. Strong Bookkeeping Skills Strong written and oral communication skills.

& EXPERIENCE An earned bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of eight (8) years of experience and/or training in the field related to the title of the position. A certificate in public accounting (CPA) in the state of Florida is required.
Experience in public accounting, financial reporting, auditing, or governmental accounting is required. Computer skills as required for the position.
