Ability to work independently and in a team environment. The Staff Accountant is a key contributor to the day-to-day accounting operations of the Corporate structure. The position is intended to provide a broad range of accounting and finance support to the Senior Corporate Accounting Manager, as well as other key
executives within the corporate headquarters. The right candidate will have exposure to process re-engineering and recommendation of process improvements.
Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor''s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Degree. 1-3 years of related accounting experience. Strong analytical skills and ability to focus on details. Ability to interact with personnel at all levels of the company. Strong interpersonal and exceptional problem-solving skills in addition to being a team player. Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects at one time. Light travel as required. Proficiency with Excel and other MS Office Professional applications. Proficient across various accounting ERP systems.
This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test. Preferred Skills and Experience: Experience with SAP. Experience with Fixed Asset Accounting. Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: Process fixed asset additions, disposals, and changes. Work closely with the tax group to properly classify assets as needed. Prepare monthly capital spending budget updates. Process daily cash reconciliations. Research and post unidentified cash transactions. Prepare monthly account analysis and reconciliation. Journal entry preparation.
Assist in various roles and projects as needed; work across balance sheet and P&L as needed. Assist with internal and external audits as needed. Assist with special projects and process improvements.
