medicines to patients with rare genetic cardiomyopathies. We are looking for a candidate with a background in cellular and molecular biology. In this role, you will be mainly responsible for developing and implementing a range of molecular and functional assays to backss the disease process, discover new medicines, and evaluate their therapeutic potential using human induced pluripotent stem cell derived cardiomyocytes (Hi PSC-CMs).

Additionally, you will be part of cross-functional teams and state of the art technology cores, and your scientific contributions will help advance Alexion's preclinical programs to the clinic. You will be responsible for: Developing and characterizing induced

pluripotent stem cell lines that carry disease-relevant mutations. Differentiation of these lines into cardiomyocytes. Development and implementation of molecular and functional assays that capture aspects of the disease phenotype associated with the relevant mutations.

Ultimately, these assays will be used to evaluate novel genomic medicine therapeutics. Collaborating within multi-functional teams pursuing both in vitro and in vivo (mammalian) work. Documenting experimental design and results in an electronic lab notebook. Presenting data to the team, unit, or external stakeholders. Keeping abreast of recent advancements in scientific literature. You will need to have: Bachelor's degree

in Biology (or equivalent) with 3+ years of working experience in academia or industry Master's degree in Biology (or equivalent) with 1-2 years of working experience in academia or industry Experience designing and optimizing molecular and immunoassays including dd PCR, RT-q PCR, Western blot, ELISA, MSD, and flow cytometry.

Proficiency with mammalian cell culture, transfection, and gene delivery including AAV, lentivirus, and adenovirus. Use of scientific databases and applications for data management and analysis (Microsoft Office 365, Graph Pad Prism, Soft Max Pro, Flow Jo). Collaborate with team members across disciplines to support portfolio. Maintain a detailed, contemporaneous record of experiments and results in accordance with company standards.

Strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, ability to multitask and prioritize activities, and effective written and verbal communication skills. We would prefer for you to have: Experience with culturing i PSCs or engineering cell lines. Experience with functional live cell readouts. In vivo experience including rodent handling, dosing, ex vivo tissue processing, and histology. When we put unexpected teams in the same room, we unleash bold thinking with the power to inspire life-changing medicines.

In-person working give us the platform we need to connect, work at pace and challenge perceptions. That's why we work, on average, a minimum of three days per week from the office. But that doesn't mean we're not flexible. We balance the expectation of being in the office while respecting individual flexibility. Join us in our unique and ambitious world. Astra Zeneca requires all US employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 but will consider requests for reasonable accommodations as required by applicable law. Astra Zeneca embraces diversity and equality of opportunity.

We are committed to building an inclusive and diverse team representing all backgrounds, with as wide a range of perspectives as possible, and harnessing industry-leading skills. We believe that the more inclusive we are, the better our work will be. We welcome and consider applications to join our team from all qualified candidates, regardless of their characteristics. We comply with all applicable laws and regulations on non-discrimination in employment (and recruitment), as well as work authorization and employment eligibility verification requirements. #LI-EB1 #LI-HYBRID

antibody drugs. Our patented Helicon peptide technology allows us to modulate the activity of well-known intracellular disease drivers that have thus far evaded small molecule and biologic therapies. Fog Pharma's lead program targets ---Catenin, an oncogenic driver in the WNT pathway.

Inhibition of ---Catenin has the potential to benefit 10-15% of all cancer patients, and is just one of many opportunities for Fog's lead-discovery platform to change future medicines, therapies and lives. Our Phase 1 clinical trial has been initiated for this program. What's the opportunity? As a Process Chemist at Fog Pharma, you will partner with scientists across the organization to discover and develop

the best Helicon TM peptides and tailor them to fit patients' needs. We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Process Chemist to join a multidisciplinary team and help us discover and develop novel inhibitors of undruggable disease targets.

Your role will report to the Vice President of medical Development and will be to establish robust manufacturing processes for our drug substance. This will require both hands-on and strategic approaches, leveraging internal and external capabilities with high flexibility. Ideal candidates will be experienced, energetic, and passionate, with a broad knowledge of Process Chemistry / Chemical Development to influence and guide the best route

selection and development of our chemical processes. This position is primarily lab-based, and you will be a primary data generator with opportunities to lead a subteam of process chemists.

Leverage internal and external capabilities to advance our programs. Lead by example and take a hands-on approach to solving our most pressing challenges. Lead a subteam of 1-2 process chemists. Partner with early discovery through late stage development to discover and implement the best synthetic approaches to our Helicon TM peptides. Develop the best strategy for the synthesis of our Helicon TM peptides. What you'll need to be successful: Ph D with a minimum of 6-8+ years of industry experience in process chemistry.

Experience with development of safe, scalable processes and technology transfer to manufacturing sites. Hands-on experience with kilo-lab deliveries is a plus. Excellent communication, organization, strategic, and cross-functional team skills. Experience directly managing external vendors is a plus. Experience with Quality Assurance, Quality systems, and GMP production is a plus. Experience with regulatory filings is a plus. Synthetic experience with peptides is a plus. Able to work on-site and attend in-person meetings (Fog employees are required to be fully vaccinated to attend in-person work-related activities.

Reasonable Accommodations will be made for individuals with a sincerely held religious belief or disability who are not vaccinated) As an equal opportunity employer, Fog values diversity and welcomes applicants of all backgrounds and experiences.
