Installs, repairs and services direct to line, time division multiplex digital channel banks, CSU/DSU high-speed data modems and other data communications equipment. Works with the phone company and other vendors to achieve data line installations and repairs. Performs precision calibration and maintenance on primary instrumentation devices

utilized for the control and operation of SCADA controlled and monitored water and wastewater facilities. Installs, repairs and services UHF, point to multipoint multiple addresses, and spread spectrum data radios along with analog/digital microwave systems in the 2, 6, 10, 11 and 23 Ghz bands as directed.

Installs, repairs and services microwave towers, antennas, transmission lines and dehydrator units as directed. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience: An Associate's Degree in Electronic Engineering, an electronics technician certification (community college or trade school), or an ISA Control Systems Technician Certification; and One (1) year experience maintaining and servicing computer controlled programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and/or other types of automated process control; and Experience in the calibration, repair and maintenance of instrumentation and data communication equipment required; or Any equivalent combination of education or experience. Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to troubleshoot to the board level utilizing a variety of electronic test equipment as well as computer driven diagnostics is required.

Ability to install, align and service microwave towers, dish, yagi and Omni directional antennas in excess of 100 feet above ground level required. Familiarity with windows-based HMI application software is desired. Familiarity with Auto-CAD, or other equivalent CAD design program is desired. Familiarity with computer aided microwave terrain analysis engineering program. Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Valid Massachusetts Class D motor vehicle license. Position Summary: This position will report to the maintenance director who will organize, develop, and direct the overall operation in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations to assure that our facilities are maintained in a safe and comfortable manner for residents, families and staff. This position coordinates maintenance and repair activities with functions of other departments. Able to attend department head meetings, sub-committees and workshops Be able to perform any or all duties concerned with electricity, plumbing, painting (including resurfacing floors, walls or ceilings), carpentry (including furniture refinishing or repair), mechanics (including equipment and mechanical systems), heating, cooling and water systems, except those services performed under service contract with outside contractors. When an outside contractor performs a service, it is to be supervised by this position.

Directs or performs duties concerned with maintenance of grounds, parking lots, driveways, etc. May include gardening, landscaping, clean-up, snow removal, etc except that performed under service contract. Perform or direct heavy custodial duties such as scrubbing and buffing, cleaning of basement, storage, and utility areas, washing walls, ceilings, outside windows, changing screens and storm windows, changing light bulbs in ceiling fixtures and housekeeping duties in very high places, removing and disposing of garbage and trash.

Runs errands, handles incoming and outgoing freight, lifts and moves heavy furniture and equipment, and other miscellaneous duties as directed by the administrator. Responsible for the care, maintenance and repairs of institutional property, equipment and grounds as directed by the administrator.
