As a Senior Level or Principal Nuclear Engineer you will: Perform neutronics, thermal hydraulics, fuel performance, and/or transient simulations and analyses for a wide variety of operating conditions in various types of water-cooled reactors, in support of qualifying and licensing Fuel.
Responsibilities will include: Performing simulations and analyses to optimize the Fuel design for various reactor types for various fuel cycle objectives (e. g. improved safety
margins, burnup extension, power uprates, load-follow operation, waste volume reduction). Developing and implementing models of Fuel in one or more fuel performance codes and benchmarking these models against results from experimental irradiations and Post Irradiation Examinations.
