candidate will conduct inspections utilizing Mag Particle Testing (MT) techniques and support overall quality control initiatives. Reports to: Quality Manager Responsibilities: • Perform Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) inspections according to established procedures and standards.
• Conduct thorough examinations of components, materials, and products to identify surface and near-surface defects. • Interpret and evaluate inspection results, documenting findings accurately and generating detailed reports. • Utilize expertise in MT to detect discontinuities, cracks, and defects in ferrous materials. • Act as a Quality Inspector, ensuring compliance with quality standards, conducting visual
inspections, and verifying specifications. • Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues, offer guidance on corrective actions, and support process improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection activities, including training documentation and qualification records. • Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements and calling for repairs. • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations. • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications. • Accomplishes quality and organization mission
by completing related results as needed. Minimum Educational Qualifications: • High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum Previous Experience: • 1 year in similar position Other Skills: • Written and verbal communication skills• Basic math skills• Basic computer skills• Attention to detail• Analytic skills• Documentation skills• Hand/eye coordination• Reporting skills• Blueprint reading
