The Improvement Engineer leads the plant-level improvement process by gathering and analyzing data, evaluating improvement opportunities, and implementing improvement projects. This role ensures plant improvements align with business objectives via the Plant Specific Technology Plan to close performance and reliability gaps, reduce costs, and increase productivity (capacity creep, reliability, etc).
In addition, the Improvement Engineer provides expense and capital project support, which may include filling various roles in the global project execution work processes, such as project manager, manufacturing representative, Six Sigma green/black belt, etc.
