1972 Kawasaki H2 750 Motorcycle The following has been done to the motorcycle Oil change Front brakes rebuilt Carburetor and fuel valve rebuilt Exterior parts polished Frame powder coated Front shocks rebuilt New steering head bearings Rims chromed and rebuilt New battery New tires New chain and sprockets Everything works and starts - sounds great!
Clean title! The tank, cowl and side covers are original. They do show some age with minor chips/dings/etc. The tank has been cleaned inside - not coated, just cleaned - it is solid. The Kawasaki H2 Mach IV was a 750 cc 3-cylinder two-stroke production motorcycle manufactured by Kawasaki.
The H2 was a Kawasaki trip sold from September 1971-1975. A standard, factory produced H2 was able to travel a quarter mile from a standing start in12.0 seconds. It handled better than the Mach III that preceded it. By the standards of its time, its handling was sufficient to make it the production bike to beat on the race track. Nonetheless, its tendency to pull wheelies and a less than solid feel through
high speed corners led to adjustments to the design as it evolved. More than any other model, it created Kawasaki's reputation for building what motorcycle journalist Alastair Walker called, " scarily fast, good-looking, no holds barred motorcycles" and led to a further decline in the market place of the British motorcycle industry.
The H2 was a reasonably competent all-around two-stroke streetbike that just happened to be the undisputed Speed King of the entire motorcycling universe, at least in â72. Nothing went stoplight to stoplight harder or faster, or with as much visceral, mind-bending thrill, and that sort of performance made folks forget âor forgive âa lot of negatives. Which is exactly what happened in the H2âs case.

She was always stored in a climate controlled garage with dehumidifiers going 24/7.
She is always covered, charging via battery tender, and tire pressure checked on a regular basis. Original Harley Davidson bike cover. manuals, keys, marketing material, restoration binder, touch-up paint, and the original two-up seat will all be included. She
runs beautifully and has the most beautiful sounding engine. The shifter and rear brake pedals are reversed. This was a standard set-up in 1959. Everything works perfectly and she is in flawless condition. The paint colors are original vintage Harley Davidson colors.
I also had the center of the rims painted as this was a popular detail on vintage English motorcycles. The seat is genuine leather and every other part of her is as it was when she was born in 1959.

Indian Motorcycle was in trouble in 1951, never recovering from WWII and it's own business practices at the time.
After not offering a Chief at all in 1949, in 1950 they introduced the Chief Blackhawk with a redesigned 80" engine and new telescoping forks. Production for 1951 was only about 500 total Indian Chiefs, making them one of the
rarest Indians of all times. The bike has clearly been restored sometime in the past and just about everything on the bike is original or a proper reproduction. It does have a hairline crack in the paint on the left fuel tank, I small chip on the front fender and some painting rubbed off from a previously loose speedo cable on the front fender.
The bike is truly impressive in person. The bike is 'Numbers Matching'. The bike was stored dry and I did start it this week without any major surgery. The tanks are as new inside (again - dry storage). It runs very well and quiet, but the 80" motors kicks pretty hard. I installed a brand new battery and case (6 volt). The bike has a new (correct) wiring harness and should be pretty dependable if you want to ride it often. Clean title.

This is a numbers matching Frame and engine Chief.
It still has left throttle, and right spark advance. It was restored a few years back according to previous owner. Tires are vintage Coker wide whites. The engine was rebuilt, and does run well. Speedometer is not workin, and I don't have key for tool box. Fenders are steel! The 48 was the last
of the springer front end before going hydrolic in 1950, skipping the 1949 model year. The fenders, and chrome of this Art Deco era are very special. Clean title.
