Reporting to the client's Assistant Director, Stakeholder Relations, the selected candidate will assist in the planning of projects in the Department by participating in the coordination effort with project stakeholders, including interdepartmental and external Stakeholders, such as City Agencies and Community Boards.

Your Impact The selected candidate will assist Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) leadership in the evaluation and resolution of impacts to various projects from stakeholder change requests and produce 2D and 3D graphics using special software for presentation to executive management. These activities will serve to gain stakeholder support for the Departments

Projects and advance the objectives of optimizing project costs, schedule and operations, through coordination with stakeholders.

Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures. Self-starter, able to work independently and able to multi-task. Proficient knowledge of architectural principles, practices, process, and the application to project work-related issues. Experience with building planning, drawing standards, design, and construction management; including active involvement in a variety of restorative and new design projects. Strong creative, visualization, and technical drawing skills.

Ability to make technical computations, renderings, and calculations involving the application of architectural principles; understanding plans and specifications, and making factual comparisons and illustrations to the appropriate regulations. Project management experience with small to mid-level projects including tracking hours and expenses for project work. Effective interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to a technical and non-technical audience. Proficiency with technical writing, office automation, discipline-specific design software (i.

e. Micro Station, Auto CAD, REVIT, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite), technology, math principles, graphics, spreadsheets, and tools. Developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills required to apply technical knowledge to reach conclusions from data collation, feedback, statistical analysis and arriving at the most effective, economical, and logical solution. Thorough knowledge of building SMART, Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Integrated Project Delivery (IDP). Advanced knowledge of QA/QC process. Advanced knowledge of building codes and ability to research and apply/incorporate into technical documents.

Possess strong hand and advanced CAD drafting skills. Proficiency in Auto CAD/Architectural Desktop preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Proficiency in 3D Modeling software such as 3D Studio Max and Viz 2006 preferred. Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup, and In Design graphic software preferred. Proficiency in Revit required. Proficiency in New Forma preferred. Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing. Ability to work in team environment. Ability to effectively meet deadlines.

Required Experience EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in architecture required 10- 15 years' experience Registered Architect with current license required. NCARB registration preferred.
