The Inventory Control Specialist receives all incoming inventory and handles all the stocking of material, manages inventory in the production shop system, prints job travelers, and pulls material for jobs. The Specialist also helps with shipping the finished product to the customer.
The position is self-directed and collaborative. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure our customers get the best products possible. Verify and receive all incoming inventory. Stock inventory and manage inventory accuracy in the Production Shop System. Print Job Travelers. Pull and verify the correct material for each job. Route received materials to the correct
department, work order, or service order. Ship finished products to customers. Ship inventory as needed to support orders. Ensure the quality of each shipment. Work independently or with a team.
