Experience : Experience growing a wide variety of vegetable crops in either a garden or farm setting is preferred. Assist in activities that increase soil fertility such as applying non-synthetic fertilizers, cover cropping, composting, mulching and other amendment processes. Assists in greenhouse operations primarily for plant propagation purposes. Assists in the planting, cultivating, mulching, weeding (mechanically and by hand), irrigation, trellising, harvesting, cleaning and distribution of all produce. Assists in the distribution days which will require an adjusted eight-hour work schedule.

Assists in maintaining overall cleanliness of crop fields, pole barn and greenhouse. Assists in maintaining all tools and equipment. Operates tractors, tillage equipment, mowers, cultivators, sprayers, seeders, flame weeders and other agricultural equipment as required. Performs minor maintenance on the Seton Harvest pole barn and greenhouses. Prepares for end-of-season by sowing cover crops, mulching and providing general clean-up. Assists in the coordination of volunteer activities. opportunity to work on large-scale manual and CNC lathes, multi-axis CNC HBMs, Vertical Machining Centers, and VTLs to machine one-of-a-kind precision components for naval nuclear reactors used in submarines and aircraft carriers. This is a low-volume, highly-engineered manufacturing environment, and you’d be involved in the full life cycle of the build.

Additionally, you’ll get to work in a safe, clean, and highly-specialized environment alongside a great team of skilled colleagues while honing niche machining skills and advancing your craft. Our machine shop includes twelve large horizontal and vertical machining centers (up to 25-feet turning and 300-ton table capacity) and six small

machining centers with CNC mills and lathes. In addition to rewarding work, our machinists work a four-day workweek and receive market-leading wages; paid time off; a paid winter holiday shutdown; medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options; and service-based retirement contributions with additional 401k match.

Overtime is required, but we are flexible in how it is achieved. Additional overtime work is also available, if desired. Our machinists receive a shift premium for second shift work (4:00 PM to 2:30 AM) and premium pay like double time based on hours/days worked in a week. We are also currently offering a sign-on bonus of $2,000. Relocation assistance is available for qualified

applicants. What You’ll Do In this role, you will set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools to perform various types of machining operations, such as milling, drilling, tapping, boring, and turning in order to meet print specifications.

Additionally, you would: Use precision measuring equipment to verify products meet customer requirements and product specifications Work to ±0.001” tolerance and 16 microfinish when necessary Write/edit programs using both G and M coded controls (experience with Siemens and Fanuc controls preferred) Troubleshoot challenges with support of on-site engineering Routinely read and comprehend written instructions, technical procedures, prints, sketches, and bills of material Work in a team environment by assisting the CNC Programmer as necessary to develop and/or test run programs Use advanced mathematical skills to calculate proper speed and feed rates Work in accordance with all applicable company procedures, policies and rules What We Need from You To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the skills necessary to safely and effectively complete required tasks.

This includes, at a minimum: High School Diploma and an Associate’s of Applied Science degree in Machining Tool and Die or equivalent training Experience with grinders, tool setters, jacks, clamps, bolts, shims, jigs, fixtures, angle plates, rules, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, gages, levels, protractors, verniers, and light hand tools Ability to maintain detailed records; ability to complete process documentation and other production records Ability to work any shift, to include nights and weekends.
