Summary The IT Support role will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to the organization under the direction of the Network Administrator. Primarily responsible for interacting with internal employees by phone, in-person, through chat or the support ticketing system to resolve computer problems related to software and hardware issues and to help them get back
up running smoothly again. Essential Duties Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email or tickets Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers Walk the customer through the problem-solving process Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel Provide accurate information on IT products or services Answers questions of a general nature; provides step-by-step technical instruction and support; troubleshoots and resolves problems; logs issues into the Bank's Information Technology case system to ensure
events are properly reported and resolved within the established quality and service level guidelines.
Follow-up and update customer status and information Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team Assist with setup, configuration, and installation of devices, equipment, software, printers and other peripherals. Assists with routine system or user administrative tasks, such as system specification changes or the addition, change, or deletion of employees on the Bank's various systems and networks; ensures necessary documentation is attained and properly authorized for such requests; and originates and maintains system and user files.
Assist in installing, troubleshooting, and supporting core network infrastructure, including switches and routers, patch panels and network cabling Maintain accurate inventory of computer assets throughout the product lifecycle, including procurement, shipping, deployment, decommissioning, and disposal Provide training and technical assistance to users Maintains basic knowledge and awareness of financial industry technical status and trends Documents tickets with applied solution.
