Works with planning and engineering concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods. Directs and coordinates capital budget/spending, Lean and other continuous improvement projects. Provides root cause analysis

and assists with problem solving for production process issues. Provides oversight to personnel involved in design of tools and fixtures. Identify, justify and implement new manufacturing technology and replacement machinery.

Works with suppliers to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards. Oversee the setup of new equipment, ensure satisfactory operation, and instruct others to use the new equipment properly. Involvement in Lean initiatives up to and including providing oversight to teams and or leading/participating in initiatives around Standard Work, Kaizen,

Flow, TPM, etc. Work as an operational liaison with supply chain pertaining to outsourcing initiatives for new products and existing products with focus on supplier evaluations, certifications, PPAP process etc.

REQUIREMENTS? Years of Experience: Previous experience (5+ years) as a manufacturing engineer in an industrial manufacturing environment involving the following equipment/processes: Welding, robotics, industrial electrical systems, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, coil slitting, presses (mechanical and hydraulic), AC/DC drives, AC power distribution, Machining (CNC & Manual), plasma/oxy fuel cutting and OH cranes. Technical Skills: Microsoft Applications; expertise in Excel and other data management tools as well as Power Point COMPENSATIONA meaningful compensation package will be developed for the successful candidate that includes a base salary plus performance-based bonus.

Summary Spire is seeking a Compliance Engineer II to provide guidance to company personnel concerning pipeline safety compliance standards and implement the company’s Integrity Management Program. This position may also manage various main and service line replacement programs and the development of compliance and maintenance programs to comply with State and federal pipeline safety programs. Also submits reports including DOT annual reports

and other records for compliance and auditing purposes.

Duties and Responsibilities • Implement, monitor, and update the integrity management programs for pipelines and facilities (transmission and high pressure pipelines and HVL) • Complete risk backssments and risk modeling analysis for pipelines and facilities (transmission, high pressure and HVL) • Ensure transmission and HVL pipeline safety compliance • Prepare state and federally required reports and documentation for transmission and HVL (annual reports, incident/accident reports, safety related condition reports, etc. ) • Monitor incident report emails • Assist in coordination of PHMSA and PSC inspections, company internal audits, and other similar reviews as necessary • Support the applicable infrastructure upgrade, replacement, and maintenance programs through prioritization modeling and recommendations for transmission system and high pressure pipeline upgrades (pigging, valving and other enhancements) • Complete class location reviews, HCA/MCA reviews, and MAOP verification reviews, and similar integrity reviews as needed • Complete pipeline and facility system record reviews to confirm reliable, verifiable, and complete record information • Support the integrity corrosion control programs • Support operational plan and procedure updates and reviews as needed • Update National Pipeline Management (NPMS) • Provide support to the Safety Management Systems (SMS) implementation along with the associated programs and initiatives • Learns Spire systems including, Synergi, Maximo, Oracle, ESRI Arc GIS… • Schedules and prioritize projects that are going to construction or have a higher priority due to the Company’s requirements • Ensures effective utilization of the Company’s Geographical Information System (GIS) and asset management system to manage all capital construction design work • Ensures the use of the Company’s standards and applicable State and Federal codes and regulations for all design work • Ensures that all work is performed in a safe, compliant, and cost-effective manner to maximize system integrity, reliability, and value to customers • All other duties as assigned by Manager.
