for leading product design concepts and ideation for innovative golf club designs. Drives interaction between designers, engineers, and executives to sketch, 3D model, prototype, a create DSPD product designs.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Create product design and concept sketches using knowledge of golf club design, performance and manufacturing constraints. Explore new golf club design concepts as part of assigned project teams. Explore form and function opportunities relevant to enhanced aesthetics. Trade performance, aesthetic, material and fabrication process influences on detailed concept design models as part of project teams. Champion prototype and 3D modeling fabrication activities.

Drive interaction between designers and engineers within the R&D departments.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities) Solid knowledge of golf club design features critical to performance. Working knowledge of the technical aspects of a golf club performance should include but is not limited to: shape and mass property influence on performance, characteristics of club sound and feel and its influence on performance and feel. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent skills in the use of design tools including sketching, graphics, and 3D modeling. Knowledge of golf club design history and competitor models. Excellent knowledge in the related areas of 3D CAD modeling.

Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software. Ability to render high resolution designs using Keyshot or similar rendering software. Ability to work in team environments to receive and provide insight for design projects. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Minimum 5 years of experience in product design and development Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or related field, or 4 or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
