Job Responsibilities include the following: Design, simulation and testing of PA/LNA Front-end modules. Simulate designs with electromagnetic simulator such as HFSS and circuit simulator such as ADS (Advanced Design System) Analysis of measurement data and planning for subsequent experiments Tuning of RF front end modules for optimum performance -in the lab Requirements Prefer commitment for -at least 6 months, starting June 2024 -ending in Dec -2024 Currently enrolled in a Ph D (strongly preferred) or MS program studying Electrical Engineering Must return to school after completing this Internship -(note: we will not consider students who have already graduated) Firm -grasp of RF/Microwave concepts as well as sound PA fundamentals Familiarity with Smith Chart and S-Parameters (should have taken at least one RF/Microwave course) Knowledge of analog blocks such as Low Drop Out regulators, baseband analog blocks Working knowledge of Network Analyzer and/or -Spectrum Analyzer is a plus Microsoft office skills including Word, Powerpoint and Excel Candidate should be adept with using simulation software similar to HFSS, ADS Candidate should be a self-starter with good communication skills The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.

S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U. S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
