and develop infrastructure solutions aligned with organizational goals. Design and implement network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN connections.
Deploy and manage server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, storage systems, and backup solutions. Install and configure operating systems, applications, and software updates. Plan and execute infrastructure expansion or upgrades to accommodate company growth. System Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor the performance and availability of network devices, servers, and applications to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues. Conduct regular system maintenance tasks,
such as patch management, firmware updates, and security audits.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems promptly to minimize downtime. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address infrastructure-related issues and provide technical support when required. Manage system backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and business continuity. Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, access controls, and data encryption. Conduct vulnerability backssments and penetration testing to identify and address potential security risks.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as GDPR or ISO 27001. Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to protect the company's infrastructure and data. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of infrastructure configurations, network diagrams, and operational procedures. Prepare reports on system performance, security incidents, and infrastructure upgrades. Provide recommendations for improvements and cost optimization in the IT infrastructure. ) Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, protocols, and security principles. Proficiency in implementing and managing server infrastructure, including virtualization technologies (e. g. VMware, Hyper-V). Experience with enterprise-level storage systems (SAN/NAS) and backup solutions. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
