Job Summary This position requires performing electromagnetic transient (EMT) studies for the LIPA transmission system by integrating applicable models for inverter based resources/HVDC/FACTS devices by using PSCAD, or other EMT simulation models. S. citizen status. Day to Day Responsibilities Lead projects aimed at achieving manufacturing performance targets for both new and existing processes. Define process limitations based on current equipment and process capabilities and recommend how to eliminate such limitations.
Lead efforts to gain fundamental understanding on key processes to allow for continuous improvement, yield improvement and cost reduction. Lead and support critical engineering and development projects that also support the plant’s goals long term objectives. Interface with and support development on new product and process introductions, raw material changes, and equipment design changes. This position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is $76,878.00 - $105,707.00.
