Essential Responsibilities Review and disposition Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), National Civil Aviation Agency of Brazil (ANAC) and Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Emergency ADs and NPRMs applicable to the Jet Blue fleet, engines and appliances.

Carefully review each AD, EAD and NPRM for applicability, compliance time, technical requirements, operational impact and risks. Maintain ADs, EADs and NPRMs in the Aircraft

electronic record keeping system (M&E System) via Engineering Controls. Schedule and lead Airworthiness Directive Control Meetings for all ADs and EADs. Coordinate with other departments and facilitate planning and execution of complex ADs including records review, tooling/material procurement, task card updates, maintenance planning and reporting.

Facilitate internal and external audits of AD Management Processes. Continuously develop and improve AD Management Processes and maintain AD Internal Operating Procedures (IOPs). Generate AD reports including monthly presentations to leadership and impact backssments. Process, coordinate and manage Alternate Means of Compliance (AMOC), where

applicable. Monitor ADs and EADs via the Sampling Program to ensure an unintentional modification of an AD or EAD has not occurred.

high speed rail applies electrical and/or mechanical expertise to troubleshoot, test and repair the systems and equipment related to the Amtrak's fleet, that includes electrical and diesel locomotives, coaches and trainsets.

Leads and directs system and equipment Amtrak's QMP Technicians and provides troubleshooting training to them on various systems. The Service Engineer will be the main technical support for assigned geographical area. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Operates the on-board diagnostic monitoring system of the equipment Diagnoses cause of electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems malfunction or failure of the control equipment and its components in the

trainsets using knowledge of trainsets, technical manuals, and troubleshooting instruments.

Troubleshoots malfunctions related to the equipment and proposes solutions or modifications to avoid future failures by working with the Maintenance Engineering Department. Plans, directs and records periodic testing of the equipment and major systems. Analyzes and interprets data developed during the periodic testing and daily reviews. Documents malfunctions and performs analyses for management on equipment reliability and service issues. Trains Amtrak's QMP employees in proper troubleshooting techniques maintenance and repair procedures to HSR technicians. May ride trains on a regular basis to determine En-route performance of control/mechanical systems and to backss dynamic state of system repairs.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to collaboratively work with others in a teamwork environment. Ability to effectively prioritize work and manage time. Ability to lead and train others. Ability to work extended hours and be on call and available on an emergency basis. Ability to work-days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays to maintain 24 hour coverage. The salary/hourly range is $65,500 - $84,888 for the Service Engineer l position and $78,600 - $101,844 for the Service Engineer ll position.
