What you'll get to do? As a Computer Systems Analyst on this team, you will support a large, classified government contract, maintain operations of the entire IT infrastructure within the cloud environment, ensure necessary IT projects are completed independently or assigned to others as necessary, obtain and analyze internal and external customer requirements and recommend equipment and software as needed. You'll also implement system enhancements that will improve the performance, reliability and security of the system including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management, manage backup infrastructure, provide backup and recovery services, manage virus protection on a routine basis as directed by policy, maintain security audit and logging information on classified networked and standalone computers as directed by the Cyber Security team, create and maintain user and computer accounts and modify file permissions as directed by policy, and develop and maintain technical processes and procedures as needed.

Maintain system operational availability according to contractual requirements. The successful candidate will have experience installing, maintaining, and managing Red Hat Linux in a cloud environment and experience with infrastructure as code.

They will have excellent written and verbal communications skills, and experience analyzing requirements. The individual must be willing to support an " on call" rotation to respond to critical system notifications and events. We have multiple Systems Administrations positions on the Ground program, and we have anticipated future growth to deliver additional ground capabilities. Qualifications This position may be filled at a Principal or Senior Principal level, depending on the qualifications outlined below.

Basic Qualifications: Principal Computer Systems Analyst: Associate's degree with 7 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience; a High School diploma or equivalent with 9 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree. Senior Principal Computer Systems Analyst: Associate's degree with 11 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 9 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 7 years of experience; or a Ph D with 4 years of experience; a High School diploma or equivalent with 13 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree.

As a Software Test Engineer I - Hardware in the Loop (Hi L) for John Deere Turf & Compact Utility (T&CU)

Engineering located in Morrisville, NC, you will utilize your HIL expertise collaborating with our team building a world class simulation infrastructure to develop and test our embedded software.

Additionally, you will… Support modeling and simulation activities; working with design teams to determine appropriate simulations to validate system of system, system, and feature requirements. Develop a hardware-based verification environment which emulates physical systems interfacing with the embedded software. Provide onsite support to install and verify new Hi L units or perform modifications, upgrades, or troubleshooting for existing systems. This can include cabinets, load boxes, power supplies, IO channels, communications networks, PCs and displays.

Handle support requests from verification champions and test automation engineers using the test environment. VISA Sponsorship is NOT Available for this position What Skills You Need Capacity to interpret and create or maintain electrical schematics. Strong interpersonal communication skills with ability to lead conversations and collaboration. Strong, demonstrated problem solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks developing new features, and handling support requests. What Makes You Stand Out Experience with MATLAB/Simulink simulation and model-based software development Experience interacting with ETAS hardware using Lab Car Operator software.

Experience with controls development. Experience with mechanical/electrical/mechatronic/hydraulic systems. Experience implementing simulation infrastructure on various hardware platforms including Amazon (AWS), local clusters, or dedicated desktops or HIL units. Product design experience in the Agriculture, Construction, Forestry, and/or Off-road equipment industries. Sense of ownership, curiosity, and ability to function in a fast paced, collaborative team environment that is distributed across various time zones and locations.

Experience with the implementation or debugging of J1939 CAN protocol. Education Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent degree in a related technology field or discipline.
