The Ground Systems Development Department (part of Northrop Grumman Space Systems Sector) in Manhattan Beach, CA is seeking a talented Staff Engineer Technical Lead to lead the development and integration of complex electronic test systems and electronic hardware units in support of space flight programs. This individual would act as a Ground Electronics Communications Systems Technical Lead on our program. The position leadership responsibilities include leading a team to: develop system architecture,

detailed design, performing customer briefings/reviews, hardware test, site integration, and post-delivery support.

Primary deliverables are flight electronics test systems and satellite system operational ground based hardware. The candidate will lead an electrical design team which is comprised of electrical hardware design engineers and other engineering functions, including: Flight Engineering, Systems Engineering, Product Engineering, Software Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Program Management to meet schedule and technical requirements. Review system/subsystem design documentation and models for technical correctness and completeness. Support the establishment and communication of technical roadmaps, for the Si AW weapon system, that lead to a system the meets the End State system performance; identify and coordinate R&D pursuits for technology developments via Contractor Research and Development with the customer and Non-Contractual Technical Activities (NCTA) and Capital Expenditures (CAPEX) necessary to achieve the system End State.

Maintain coordination with the other relevant programs in regard to the technical content that will be re-used and leveraged by the Si AW missile. Provide support to the Risk and Opportunities Management Board and the resulting risk mitigation and opportunity capture actions. Provide leadership in regard to Digital Engineering, Agile Processes, and Open Systems Architecture; foster team and program opportunities to maximize open communications and improve overall team performance and production. Works with PM, CE, and IPT leads to develop IMS for technical tasks.

This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization. As a Design Engineer at Boeing Secure Computing Solutions, you will be part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team which develops leading-edge cyber ARM-based So C processor solutions. -Position Responsibilities: Review and

provide input into architecture specification and requirements Create and leverage model-based engineering to drive micro-architectures and requirements Develop and implement micro-architectures and design specifications Develop and execute best coding standards including assertions Develop designs using Verilog/VHDL, run synthesis and static timing Review and approve verification test plans Support post-silicon validation Execute on trade studies and make-buy analysis and recommendations Working alongside the design team, you will help drive design and test process improvement, shape design reuse strategies and strive for maximum coverage in an effort to ensure design quality and success.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the ability to obtain a U. S. Security Clearance for which the U. S. Government requires U. S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U. S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
