Specific Duties and Responsibilities Recommends, designs, documents, develops, and revises ABAP/Fiori solutions for requirements (and problems) of varying complexity Consults with business users and business analysts to understand their needs/requirements, analyzes existing and proposed data processing procedures, and coordinates acceptance of completed deliverable. Provides technical assistance to SAP Business Analysts

with debugging and program related problem solving Participates in upgrading of SAP and the implementation of other modules Coordinates and facilitates meetings with business users and other technical staff to gather technical requirements.

Participates in corporate and departmental reporting support Plans, documents and executes software implementation, including rollback strategies, and coordinating activities with other IT teams and clients, following best practices for deployment and communication Estimates time of development activities and reports progress against estimates to management, Program/Project Managers, and project team members Prepares and maintains detailed user and operations documentation to ensure service levels can be measured and achieved, and to meet audit requirements for safeguarding software, data and business continuity Prepares test data and test scripts, conducts testing (logic, usability, integration, security, and acceptance), debugs programs, and supports user acceptance testing Provides problem resolution for calls referred by the Help Desk Keeps up‑to‑date with developments in programming techniques and SAP programming technologies.

Qualifications Education and Experience: Diploma in Computer Science plus sound experience in programming; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Sound experience with SAP development is required, focusing on the following technologies: Strong ABAP-OO and debugging skills Business Add-Ins, BAd I , Enhancement Framework, User-Exits ALE, BAd Is, BAPIs, IDocs, BFR and LSMW SAPSCRIPT, Smartforms, Adobe Forms Web Dynpro ABAP with Floorplan manager SAP Workflow design, change, and support Implementing Fiori Architecture that includes full end to end deployment including Fiori apps.

Developing OData services using ABAP Developing new user-facing features and applications based on HTML5, CSS, Java Script. Experience with the software development lifecycle and common models (waterfall, agile, Kanban, iterative, etc. ) with familiarity in best software practices including requirements gathering and unit testing. Experience developing interfaces between SAP and external applications - desirably through PI an asset. Main Purpose and Function The Recreation Programmer II performs supervisory and recreation programming work by assisting a Recreation Supervisor or Coordinator in the development, coordination and implementation of a community recreation program, at West Point Grey

The position assumes responsibility for directing segments of an approved community recreation program, provides guidance and recommendations to community program committees, recruits and instructs part-time staff, schedules, evaluates and reports on programs, performs moderately complex administrative duties and acts for a superior on an assigned shift.

Specific Duties/Responsibilities Responsible for the overall planning and implementation of programs and services, assumes responsibility for coordinating and directing in one or more areas Responsible for overseeing the following portfolios: Adult/Seniors programming, Fitness Centre, Pottery Studio Programming and Management,

OH&S worker Rep and Facility Maintenance. Makes recommendations on the development, implementation and discontinuation of recreation programs and events.

Provides guidance and information to community groups and committees related to the work performed; promotes interest and participation in program activities; establishes and maintains liaison with agencies and community groups. Recruits, instructs and directs group leaders, part-time staff and volunteers, and supervises the work of other full-time and part-time staff involved in approved recreation programs, provides an orientation to same. Recruits and supervises program instructors and contractors, ensures that all required operating procedures are met, including proper screening of those working with vulnerable populations In consultation with peers, arranges for and schedules space within the assigned facilities or area; participates in the review of centre policies and procedures.

Monitors programs, keeps statistical records and prepares narrative evaluations of programs. Maintains a variety of operating, and administrative records, provides cost and revenue estimates for a segment of the community centre recreation programs and assists in overseeing collection and accounting for admissions and fees for same.

Initiates requisitions for materials and equipment within budgetary limits and arranges for the disposal of unsafe, worn or obsolete equipment. Prepares publicity material for the promotion of programs or events. Enforces rules and regulations and deals consistently and tactfully with groups or individuals who fail to observe these and acts in the absence of a superior, on an assigned shift. Is current with trends, issues and advocacy in recreation programming and services Other duties/responsibilities as assigned The current schedule is Sunday to Thursday with one evening shift, but this schedule is subject to change based on operational needs.

Qualifications: Education and Experience: Post-secondary degree in Recreation or a related discipline and sound experience related to the work; OR, completion of a post-secondary degree in any discipline or an approved diploma course in recreation, plus considerable experience related to the work. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Considerable knowledge of the philosophy and objectives of a planned community recreation program. Considerable knowledge of the methods, materials, equipment and practices involved in conducting community recreation programs.

Working knowledge of the policies of the Board of Parks and Recreation as applied to community recreation.
