for a Cap Net Windows Systems Engineer to join our team! The right candidate will perform a variety of engineering analysis, software, hardware, development, integration, testing, maintenance tasks, and support duties to integrate hardware and software products into enterprise environments and stand-alone networks that includes Net App Storage management, Cisco UCS server management, VMWare v Center management, and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) activities.

Ensure the server and storage infrastructure is operating correctly, and adjust setting and storage capacities. Ensure all servers are functioning, and create/migrate machines. Candidate must have prior experience

with server and software upgrades, and be able to create Microsoft O/S deployments.

Work with information systems security engineer (ISSE) on system accreditation (A&A) efforts. Position responsibilities include the following: Have knowledge of Cisco UCS (Unified Computing System: Fabric Interconnect and Nexus network switches, Chassis comprising Server Blades, and a Net App ONTAP Storage Array System Maintain, upgrade, configure and monitor daily and weekly differential and full system backup policies and activities Maintain and update VMware ESXi hosts and v Sphere/v Center v7.0+ system hosting virtual Windows servers and workstations, and Linux servers Build, maintain, and upgrade Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) for use with Microsoft Windows 11 OS workstation and laptop builds, Server 2020, 2019, and 2016 builds, server and workstation security updates and patching, application deployments and software/licensing and compliance reports Maintain and upgrade Microsoft Exchange 2016 email system.

Maintain and update Trellix e Policy Orchestrator (e PO) – including the following products: Agent, Antivirus – AMCore system, Firewall, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Mc Afee Drive Encryption (MDE), and Policy Auditor Maintain and upgrade Microsoft Network Domain Controllers (DCs), Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS, DHCP, DFS, etc.

Package and deploy software applications to network and standalone laptops. Maintain and update printers and print servers Maintain and upgrade field site workstations, printers and network equipment including routers, switches, and cryptography devices Perform continuous monitoring and update security patches and policies for Network Accreditation efforts Perform workstation and server hardening/lockdowns, apply STIG GPO policies, and resolve security mitigations for ongoing backssments and Authorization (A&A) Continuous Monitoring, and Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) Brief customer management on status of systems and security compliance Engineer, support, and troubleshoot Windows 11 and later desktop operating systems, including establishing new build and deployment methods for Windows workstations Review vulnerability information as reported by Rapid 7, and identify appropriate mitigations, including test and validation of related changes Create processes to automate task and configuration items using Power Shell Support and troubleshoot issues involving desktop application including the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Outlook, and classification management tools Document all new changes introduced to the system, and keep existing documentation current.

Support Tier 1 and 2 personnel with general user issues including public key infrastructure, application assistance, network troubleshooting, and other user assistance items as needed ABC Required Education, Experience, & Skills The right Systems Engineer will have 16 years' of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 14 years' with a Master's. or 12 years' with a Doctorate.
