Seals box containers with tape or staples. Attaches label to boxes or specified containers according to set procedures. Compares items packed with customer's order and other identifying

data. Completes final audit log for each work order to be shipped. Completes dock audit sheet as requested by customer. Inputs into Plexus data of items to be shipped.

Operates forklift to load and unload trucks. Operates banding equipment and stretch wrap machine to secure products for final shipping. Uses Plexus to print master labels for boxes to be shipped. Receives and verifies shipment of goods for vendor accuracy. Inputs into Plexus data of items received. Receives rejected material. Weighs, measures, and labels rejected material and verifies for accuracy. Labels incoming material for stock. Transports materials received to secure area using forklift. Retrieves stock

from secure area for production. Braces materials and parts when loaded onto containers for overseas shipments.

Cleans tools, equipment, machines, and work area. Uses Company Truck to transport material between plants. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. to machining specifications by performing the following duties. Essential Responsibilities ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Visually examines and feels surface of rubber coated or adhesive material to detect defects such as bond failure, scratches, bubbles, and other blemishes.

Verifies conformance of coated material to dimensional specifications. Records all defects on defect log. Completes Nonconforming Condition Report (NCR) in the event of excessive defects. Retrieves Job Sheet/Standard Manufacturing Procedure (SMP) from Plexus and reviews for setup procedures. Uses micrometer to measure material and glue thickness of in-process and sample materials. Cuts material

samples at beginning and ending of each master coil. Maintains coating records by documenting line speed, thickness, chemical mixtures, bond results, etc.

Assists in finished master coil removal and startup of new master coils. Scope of Position: Deliver manufacturing process improvements in various areas of the plant, with a focus on the extrusion forming process. Day to Day Tasks: Develop project plans, timelines, cost estimates for process improvements to meet the overall manufacturing and operations objectives with a focus on extrusion process engineering. Design and execute experiments, testing hypothesis that advance fundamentals of batch, extrusion, drying and firing process improvement. Work with Division Engineering resources to optimize test methods for improved fundamentals of raw materials, forming, and firing, and process impacts on batch rheology, formability, drying,

firing, and physical properties. Work directly with engineering and operations in troubleshooting and resolving process issues.

Interface with operators, team directors, and peers to develop and implement process, equipment, Lean, 5S, or safety improvements into manufacturing. Hours of work/work schedule/flextime: Minimum 40 hr/week, typical 8 am-5 pm with additional time as needed for experiments or other business needs. Education & Experience: BS/MS in an engineering discipline, with preference for Mechanical, Materials, Chemical or Ceramics. Ideal candidate will have 2-5 years in their technical field with plant/ industrial production desired.
