Summary/Objective: The Electrical Engineer will support ACI's field operations on Commercial Construction projects with

the primary responsibility of ensuring our field supervision has the materials, equipment and information necessary to effectively complete the scope of work.

As an extension of the ACI Senior Project Manager (SPM) and/or Project Manager (PM) the Electrical Engineer is ultimately responsible for understanding and accomplishing the customer's goals while protecting and promoting the interests of ACI and its subcontractors/suppliers in all project related matters. Essential Functions: Assists Electrical SPM/PM in the submission and review of permits, proposals, submittals, contracts and change orders Reviews specifications and drawings in preparation of subcontractor scopes of work Understands

contract documents and help identify scope gaps. Prepares and distributes project RFI's and Submittals and maintain subsequent logs Reviews vendor/supplier's submittals for conformance to contract documents and timely track the submittal process Manages project specific materials and equipment purchases including: sourcing, maintaining vendor relations, ordering and tracking deliveries and receiving and processing invoices Assists PM with procurement and the buyout process Creates and maintains internal project schedules and project tracking reports Supports field in expediting schedule, completion of field paperwork and expediting materials to projects Assist project superintendent with enforcement of site safety and notifies management of any issues that arise which affects safety, quality, budget and progress of work Supports operations and PM with client communications regarding project schedules and milestones Maintains good customer relationships Assists and supports the PM by attending/scheduling project meetings with ACI's project team, clients, subcontractors, vendors and suppliers Prepares and distribute subcontractor and client's meeting minutes Attends and setups punch list walk-thru as needed; compile the punch list and forward to PM and Superintendent Compiles and provides closeout documentation (turnover packages) to the client at the end of the project (as-built drawings, O&M's, warranties, etc.

) Establishes good working relationship and foster positive communications with other team members, management, vendors and clients Keeps up-to-date on industry trends and developments Performs other duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibility: No Required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Construction Engineering or related field, and 2-3 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferably in a construction environment) Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Office products including Word, Project, Excel, Outlook and PDF Editing software (Bluebeam, Adobe) Ability to learn company specific software as needed or required, e.

Procore and Viewpoint Proven track record working with people, teams and projects M ust be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail and demonstrate problem-solving skills Must be able to pass post-offer pre-employment drug screen, and may be required to satisfactorily complete additional background checks as required (i.

Position Summary: The person in this role is the on- site expert for electrical installations and will manage one of the largest coffee manufacturing facilities in North America. The Electrical Engineer role requires at least

ten years of experience in an industrial facility leading all electrical projects, including PLC systems. Primary Duties: Manages electrical systems, components, networks, and those personnel and the equipment designated to maintain and install electrical systems.

Implements capital and expense projects, including: design of proposals; development of project electrical/programming/wiring requirements; selection and ordering of equipment; selection and direction of vendors and contractors; project cost accounting Oversees project installation and startup; trains plant operations, maintenance, and management personnel Researches plant systems, including performance and reliability,

and recommends appropriate updates and/or changes Maintains facility power systems (120V to 34.5k V) Maintains plant PLC, server, and network systems including maintenance, troubleshooting, modifications, and expansions Performs backups and disaster recovery tasks Supports implementation of mechanical projects through design and implementation of required power, networking, and PLC control systems Develops and maintains full electrical/program documentation to support all projects Provides oversight for the Instrument tech shop and overall electrical work direction.

Supports company safety initiatives Is the on- site expert for electrical installations and responsible for compliance with federal, state, and local code requirements Manages the plant electrical safety program per NFPA-70E, Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace Responsible for supplying Maintenance Planner with the required information during planning stages to designate equipment identification for the CMMS system, as well as provide any technical documentation to develop preventive maintenance for installed equipment Qualifications & Requirements: BS in Electrical Engineering or related field Minimum of 10 years of hands-on and directly applicable experience in a manufacturing environment Previous work in an industrial setting required, preferably for a CPG or food manufacturing company Must have 10 or more years of programming DES, PLC, MMI, and MES, including: Allen Bradley PLCs, from SLC500, PLC5, to Control Logix systems, including Device Net and Control Net systems; Square D and Omron PLC systems; Wonderware Software (In Touch and In Track); Auto CAD Electrical; SQL and Access; MS Office including Powerpoint and Project Must have excellent project management skills (minimum of 5 years' project management experience) with a proven ability to lead complex technical projects Must have experience with Allen Bradley Control Logix Processors and RSLogix 5000, HMI interface programming, CAD drawing in schematic generation, and industrial controls Excellent communication skills required Must be self-motivated with a high level of initiative and a proactive approach Leadership and coaching skills in a team environment a must Knowledge of federal, state, and other applicable laws and standards Must have complete familiarity with computer, hardware, network TCP/IP protocols, NT, and Server 2000 security systems Equal Opportunity Employer: disability / veteran.
