The ideal candidate possesses a breadth of knowledge in sensor integration and can work with stakeholders to extract the information needed to ensure ground system programs are able to provide clear direction to system builders. This position requires 100% on site work in Chantilly, VA What You’ll Be Doing Advise customer on sensor integration program throughout its acquisition lifecycle. Collaborate with external stakeholders that inform sensor integration efforts. Become familiar with Aerospace’s technical

capabilities and apply them to customer needs. Participate in backplane meetings to improve coordination amongst interrelated customers.

Requires travel to customer facility in Springfield, Virginia, and other locations. Occasional domestic travel to meetings and workshops. What You Need to be Successful Minimum Requirements for the GEOINT Systems Engineer Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or related technical discipline Minimum of 8 years in roles of increasing responsibility. Experience in systems engineering and integration testing and network architectures. Expertise in the application of space-based intelligence systems in support of strategic intelligence and combat operations.

This position requires the ability to have and maintain a current and active TS/SSBI/SCI security clearance and polygraph which is issued by the US Government. US citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance. In addition to the above, the Senior GEOINT Systems Engineer requires : Minimum of 12 years in roles of increasing responsibility. Recent Experience with one or more NGA organizations involved in sensor integration. Ability to lead mixed government, SETA, and FFRDC teams in technical, architecture, strategy, and systems engineering projects and tasks.

How You Can Stand Out It would be impressive if you have one or more of these: Advanced degree in a relevant field and certification as a Systems Engineering Professional. Experience in geospatial-intelligence collection systems, operations, and intelligence analysis using traditional and newer paradigms (e. g. Activity Based Intelligence). Working knowledge of photogrammetry. Experience with Dev Ops, Infrastructure as Code, and Test and Integration.
