Develop, troubleshoot, and debug 3D and 2D visualizations that communicate complex physics and geometry to the manufacturing engineer. Provide time and memory efficient algorithms for processing geometry and physics calculations. Assist in integrating the software with cloud services. Perform manual software testing and log detailed, reproducible bug reports. Participate in agile software planning
and management process. Implement and maintain automated regression testing scripts on the software.
Assist in enhancing development operations such as continuous integration and deployment when called upon. Write documentation on software features and algorithms. Assist production team with path planning and part validation issues. Fix and verify bugs and defects. May provide task oriented direction to Technicians, Technologists, and/or lower level Engineers in the execution of development projects. Other duties as assigned by the department supervisor. Education & Experience Required Minimum four-year B. S. in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical field.
Minimum 3-5 years of software development experience. Interest or experience in modern 3D graphics API such as Open GL 4.6 or Direct3D 11 Interest or experience optimizing software through multi-threading using toolkits such as Intel Threading Building Blocks. Interest and experience working in moderate sized teams of highly skilled personnel. Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally. Works effectively in a cross-functional team environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously. Preferred Windows UI development with. Net and Winforms. n Vidia’s CUDA Toolkit.
Knowledge of software languages such as C++, C# and Python. Experience complying with free for commercial use open source software. Experience with source code control using GIT. Responsibilities The Process Technician is a key member of the Manufacturing Engineering Team that supports products and processes within the Plant. Participate in Engineering design reviews for new and existing products. Work with Engineering to define work methods and work sequences in the development of new products and processes.
Support daily shop floor operations, troubleshoot, and resolve production and quality issues, and implement process improvements. Perform analysis, data collection, and document operator standard work. Analyze, recommend, and implement layout and process flow improvements. Develop workstation and line layouts, balancing of work content, determination of labor
requirements, material handling and storage solutions, process documentation, and operator training as needed. Qualifications Two-year Technical Degree in a related field is preferred.
