RESPONSIBILITIES The Process Control Specialist is responsible for providing a reliable DCS operation in the areas of hardware and software support, including upgrades, backups, performance tracking, administration, and security. Responsible for providing various maintenance activities of the DCS to ensure the most effective utilization of the system, which include;
ensure scheduling of preventive maintenance, review of maintenance contracts, identification of instrumentation, analyzer, and interface malfunctions. Responsible for scheduling maintenance, guiding and assisting vendor maintenance personnel in correcting malfunctions, as well as be the site resource for providing training and assistance to Operations to ensure an effective utilization of the DCS.
In addition, the Process Control specialist will be responsible for providing support and assistance for plant DCS systems as needed throughout all operations. QUALIFICATIONS Experience working on instrumentation and control systems common to manufacturing industry (flow meters, pressure
indicators, control valves). Familiarity with Honeywell TDC 3000, Honeywell Experion, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and software such Plantstate Suite, PI, or Visio.
