The internship is crafted to give you an understanding of the operations and processes of businesses across Bunge's value chain. During the internship, you will receive multi-functional exposure to a number of Bunge's business units
while performing various operational (e. g. grain elevator operations, engineering, etc. ) functions. You will develop the skills and knowledge needed to provide a solid foundation in all aspects of commercial and/or operational processes.
Location to be determined, you would be placed at one of our Crush/Refine facilities. Must be willing to relocate for the duration of the internship. Essential Functions: Participate fully in the day to day operation of a Bunge facility Develop a thorough understanding of an elevator or oilseed processing plant operations Develop a thorough understanding of elevator and/or grain and oilseed processing plant operation Demonstrate your level of understanding
by responding to verbal or written inquiries from supervisors, mentors, or program manager Travel to other Bunge locations for training and exposure purposes Assist location and corporate staff in evaluating changing crop, market, and operational conditions Ability to communicate effectively with Bunge internal and external customers Qualifications/Requirements: Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a four year accredited college or university, Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Agricultural Engineering strongly preferred Must be collaborative, results oriented and possess strong critical thinking skills Ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, adversity, and constant change Outstanding verbal and written communication skills Analytical problem solving skills Proficiency in standard PC applications Standard internships hours 8 AM - 5 PM subject to adjustment as required by assignment and/or location Ability to travel#LI-SM1Bunge (NYSE: BG) is a world leader in sourcing, processing and supplying oilseed and grain products and ingredients.
