Leading an enterprise Kubernetes engineering team Overseeing the quality, and engineering practices of a large team of software engineers building Kubernetes Clusters for GKE/OKE/AKS etc Owning the strategy for providing consistent kubernetesinfrastructure spanning multiple public clouds. Building and fostering open, collaborative relationships with peers and the conteiners user community. Effectively setting and managing expectations with other engineering teams, senior management, and external stakeholders. Developing

Consistent track record of shaping and executing multi-year technical strategy. Demonstrated history of mentoring and growing engineers with varying levels of experience and skills. Youll need to have: Bachelors degree or four or more years of work experience. Six or more years of relevant work experience. Expertise in large containerized computing environments utilizing Kubernetes with Docker containers for a large IT enterprise wide environment. Experience with platform infrastructure. Experience in systems concepts, system administration, and cloud platforms. Managed 24x7 operation based teams. Even better if you have one or more of the following: Masters degree in Computer Science, Information System, or related field.
Experience with Data security and Governance. Experience with data architecture, modeling and integration. Experience coding in Java, Python, or Go, and at least one scripting language. Expertise in large containerized computing environments utilizing Kubernetes with Docker containers for a large IT enterprise wide environment. Also detailed institutional experience and knowledge in Public, Private, and Hybrid Cloud computing environments including the integration of compute technologies. This includes understanding of architecting and engineering large enterprise solutions to achieve cost efficiencies, scaling, and availability for a large enterprise environment.
Decent knowledge and experience implementing/supporting Kubernetes Decent knowledge of containers and container management technologies; Docker and Kubernetes Basic understanding and managing CI/CD toolchain products like Jira, STASH, Git, Bitbucket, Artifactory, and Jenkins Knowledge of API, Microservices, network and security architectures and design patterns. Experience with software development, software delivery lifecycle, application modernization, Dev Ops, Service/Infrastructure as Service and Operations.
Lead and participated in performance tests identify bottlenecks, opportunities for optimization, and capacity demands. Knowledge of SRE practices and principles to build resilient systems and to provide business continuity. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island or Washington work location, the compensation range for this position is between $131,000.00 and $243,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more.
