IT Support Center Intern will drive the business by providing IT support through phone/email/self-service for internal end users. This position will assist on password resets, printer and other network device issues, and lower severity IT access ticket requests. Another skill the intern will acquire is the maintenance and troubleshooting of technology devices and services used within the company. Teamwork is an essential skill that is needed in real life work. At this internship, the intern will learn how to work in teams. This is an on-site position in Dallas, TX. Candidate must be able to work 30-40 hours in the summer

and 15-20 hours during the school year. Flexibility in scheduling. THE ROLE Acts as a contact for the Technology department for users requesting local technical assistance in Dallas support center office or other locations.

Tier I support of common software (i. e. MS Office 365, printing) Ensures support calls are answered, logged, triaged, and assigned to the appropriate resources where necessary. Administers software, hardware, and equipment by processing requests, receiving shipments and tracking user assignments. Install new computer equipment & peripherals and troubleshoot, including installing software, updates, and performing virus, spyware, and adware scans.

Troubleshoot printer, copier, and scanner problems, including replacing parts. Assist with the installation and upgrading of equipment and applications. Provide support to all departmental back offices related to but not limited to telephones, desktop devices, laptops, Video Conferencing, connectivity issues pertaining to the internet. Perform preventive maintenance tasks. Perform other duties as requested by management QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Prefer candidate to be enrolled as a student in academic institution working toward degree or certification in technology field Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Windows 10+.

Knowledge of general IT hardware including laptops, desktops, printers, copiers, wireless, and mobile devices Strong problem resolution, time management skills, and ability to prioritize workload and act with increased independence in solving problems.
